Hey everybody, hope you’re enjoying some pretty weather! It’s gorgeous here and not too awfully warm yet. I’m thrilled to share this Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you today. It’s been a minute since I created a rocker card, and this one features our new KIS Cuts Nested Stitched Scallop Circles along with papers and die cut pieces from our new La Vie En Rose collection. I absolutely love this collection as it has a real vintage-y vibe to it.
La Vie En Rose is a French phrase meaning “life in pink” or “life through rose-colored glasses”. It represents an optimistic, romantic, and blissful outlook on life where one sees the world as beautiful, carefree, and filled with love. What better way to wish someone a happy birthday!
Using the KIS Cuts Nested Stitched Scallop Circles, I cut the card base from CutCardStock Basis Natural cardstock along with half-scallop layering panels from coordinating prints in the La Vie En Rose 12×12 Collection Pack. I went to town adding ephemera from the La Vie En Rose Die Cut Pieces, including a tag on which I tied some of our Back To Basics Jute Twine. The finishing touch was adding several Back To Basics Ruby Enamel Dots.
I cut a half-scallop panel for the inside which I embellished with more die cut pieces. Love, love, love how this one turned out!
