Hi friends! Well, another Friday has rolled around and it’s the end of October already! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Cut It Up Challenges, and I’m delighted to share my inspiration project for #368 – Thankful, Grateful, Blessed. We want to see your project depicting feeling(s) of being thankful, grateful and/or blessed. That should be a pretty easy theme for everybody. I used the beautiful Cyndy G SVG Dolores Card SVG Cut File which I cut in Encore textured cardstock from 12×12 Cardstock Shop. I’ve had this huge package of cardstock for several years and truth be known, I’ve been hoarding it. Oh, did I say that ‘H’ word?! Bahahaha! So anyway, I decided to get it out and actually use it; I’ve made three CIU inspiration projects with it and there are more to come! ;)
Using my Cricut Explore Air 2 and the Cyndy G SVG Dolores Card SVG Cut File, I cut the pieces from 12×12 Cardstock Shop Encore Textured Cardstock in Snowy White, Vanilla Ice Cream, Honolulu Blue, Maple Syrup, Jet Black, Sea Glass and Rosy Red, along with a couple pieces cut from Classic Crest Solar White from CutCardStock. The sentiments are from Stampin’ Up! Paisleys & Posies stamp set, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added several Brutus Monroe Violet Shift Flat Back Crystals, applied with my Trinity Pick Up Stick.
Here’s a shot of the inside with another sentiment from the same SU stamp set. Love, love, love how this turned out! And I have plans to make another one in different colors for another team!
