jolly

Hi friends! I hope you have something really fun planned this weekend! Today is my baby boy’s 37th birthday and I keep asking myself ‘Where have all these years gone?! He was just a baby yesterday!’ It’s been so awesome watching him grow and develop into the wonderful man and father he’s become! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project! This clean and simple Christmas card features three different Sizzix die sets and was so fun putting together!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and die cut the holes in the bottom of the front flap using the Sizzix Festive Repeat Thinlits which I backed with a piece of silver glitter vinyl. I die cut the Santa snowglobe from the Sizzix Tiny Snowglobes and colored all the pieces with alcohol markers. I die cut the ‘jolly’ sentiment from CutCardStock Pop Tone Wild Cherry cardstock which I adhered under the snowglobe. The final touch was adding several Eyelet Outlet snowflake brads (prongs removed) popped up on Stampin’ Up mini dimensionals.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a couple strips of CutCardStock Pop Tone Wild Cherry cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Keep It Simple Scandinavian Christmas Gnomes stamp set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink, cut it with a Spellbinders Standard Circles die and layered it on a slightly larger circle die cut.

Scrappy hugs,

Merry Christmas twister

Hey everybody! Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week and are headed into a fun weekend! How about another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project?! You know how much I LOVE Art Impressions stamps and dies, and the Twister line is another one of my favorites, so I created a fun twister card using the Santa Twist Set stamps and dies!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel and aperture frame from two coordinating papers in the Keep It Simple Jade 12×12 Collection Pack. Using the Art Impressions Twist Frame Dies, I cut the aperture into the front flap and layering panel, and adhered the frame. I adhered two narrow strips to the sides cut from CutCardStock Pop Tone Wild Cherry cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Santa Twist Set stamps over the aperture and then stamped Santa’s front and back sides (from the same stamp set) on Solar White. I colored Santa with alcohol markers and cut him with the coordinating Santa Twist Set dies.

I adhered another panel from a coordinating print in the Keep It Simple Jade 12×12 Collection Pack on the inside (visible through the twist aperture), and stamped another sentiment from the Santa Twist Set stamps in black ink.

Scrappy hugs,

It’s Christmoose

Howdy peeps! I hope you are enjoying some of this glorious weather and you’re not in one of the ‘melting’ states. I feel so bad for all those people dealing with scorching temps! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project. This clean and simple Christmas card features a circular aperture and the most adorable little moose peeking out! I won this Clearly Besotted stamp set about three years ago and have only used it a couple times, so it was time to bring it out for another play!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock and punched a circular opening using the Stampin’ Up 2″ circle punch. I die cut a square from a green plaid paper in the Keep It Simple Jade 12×12 Collection Pack using a My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX die and punched a circle in it to adhere over the aperture. I stamped a sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Merry Christmoose stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The finishing touch to the front was adhering several Eyelet Outlet red sequins.

I stamped a sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Merry Christmoose stamp set in black ink along with the adorable little moose (seen through the aperture) which I colored with alcohol markers.

Scrappy hugs,

Merry Christmas fun fold

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful week! It’s unreal that we’re already on the downslide to the end of June! I have another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project to share… I hope you aren’t getting tired of seeing them because I sure am enjoying sharing them with you! This Merry Christmas double flap fun fold is one of my favorite designs and I’ve made quite a few of them over the years. I totally love a pink and teal color combo for Christmas!

I cut the card base and flaps from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and rounded the corners. I cut layering panels from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock and coordinating papers from The Paper Studio Four Seasons and Everything In Between -2- paper pad.

I stamped the reindeer from the Hero Arts Jingle All The Way stamp set on Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and ultra fine point Sharpies, and cut it with the coordinating Jingle All The Way die. I die cut the ‘merry’ portion of the sentiment from CutCardStock Pop Tone Cotton Candy cardstock using the die from the Hero Arts Merry Stamp & Cut, then stamped stars and the other portion of the sentiment from the Merry Stamp & Cut as well.

Here are shots of the card opening up with the inside sentiment stamped from the Merry Stamp & Cut. So fun!

Hey everybody, Happy Monday! I hope you’re having a great day! I have another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project to share. This clean and simple Christmas card features the Hero Arts Color Layering Holly stamps and dies which I just love!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock. I stamped the holly images from the Hero Arts Color Layering Holly stamp set in Catherine Pooler Sage, Eucalyptus and Spruce inks, and cut them with the coordinating Hero Arts Color Layering Holly dies. I stamped the sentiment in Eucalyptus ink and adhered the stamped and die cut images to the card front. I added Eyelet Outlet 8mm red cut jewels to the images for the holly berries and a few 4mm white pearls to the background.

In keeping with the CAS design, I simply stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) in Eucalyptus ink.

Hey everybody! Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there! My dad was pretty amazing but has been gone since 1975, so my wishes to him are directed toward Heaven! I’ve popped in this morning to share a Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project. You know how much I love the Art Impressions Matchbook series, and I have a fun Santa/Christmas-themed one to share. These are so stinkin’ fun and I won’t stop until I’ve made all of them, lol!

I cut the base from Polly’s Paper Studio patterned paper using the Matchbook Template Die. I stamped all the elements from the Santa Christmas stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Santa Christmas dies. I always enjoy the assembly the most! ;)

Here’s a shot of the back of the matchbook and another shot showing the tiny envelope created with the Matchbook Envelope Dies and a coordinating patterned paper. So fun!

Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT!

Hey everybody! I’ve got some of the best news ever… I can’t even begin to tell you how stoked I am to have been invited to join the Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT! We were starting to pack up our house to move to the cabin when the invite came in October. Of course I accepted but with a delayed start date that turned out to be December 1st. Yeah, I know, I’m a bit late with my announcement, lol!

My term is for six months and it’s such a unique team to be on! Our inspiration projects are uploaded to member-only galleries for Fan Club members! That means I’m not blogging my projects or posting them on social media… so if you’re interested in seeing our Dirty Dozen DT inspiration projects each month, we invite you to join the Fan Club!

The Fan Club subscription doesn’t cost much and members get TONS of perks in addition to access to all the other free content on the Splitcoast Stampers website. I joined SCS back in 2011 and use the site quite regularly these days. You’ve undoubtedly noticed that over the years I’ve frequently referenced Splitcoast Stampers tutorials where I find inspiration! So, c’mon and join – start 2023 off right! It’s less than $25 for an entire year! Yes, you read that right! ;)

Thanks for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time!
