great things take time

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday – hope you are kick-starting your week with some good crafting! It’s time for another fun challenge over at Love To Craft Challenge Blog and I’m super stoked to share my DT inspiration project for LTCCB #38 – September Anything Goes! I created an awesome encouragement card using a clock background that I had out for another project a few weeks back. Can you tell I love this stamp?!

Leslie

This was a super easy card. I stamped the background on kraft paper, trimmed it, and layered it on black cardstock. I added some very thin strips of black cardstock across the top and bottom, which I allowed to extend out into the right and left margins for a little interest. I layered the panel again on kraft paper and adhered it to a black card base. The front and inside sentiments are Tim Holtz sentiment stickers.

I embellished the inside kraft paper panel with leftover strips of black cardstock, and affixed a Tim Holtz sentiment sticker.

One more look… I’m so smitten! This would be a great design to mass produce for a set of cards to give as a gift. Hmmmm…

  1. It may have been super easy to create, but what a great message this card gives! I love the kraft and black combo along with all those clocks! Love it!
