Celebrate Gift Box

Hi everyone! Happy first Tuesday of September… we are rolling right through the year and that much closer to Christmas, lol! It’s time for another fun challenge over at Stinkin’ Inkers and I’m thrilled to share my DT inspiration project for our Fancy Folds challenge! We’d love to see your project this month featuring a fun fold! I created a pretty gift box with coordinating bow using my We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board. It has a tiny round magnet closure. Wait until you see what’s inside! ;)

Here’s a shot of the set of 10 pretty notelets contained in the gift box. They are 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ in size, and feature a snip of matching paper and gold foil ‘Congratulations’ sentiment on each, hence the ‘Celebrate’ sentiment on the outside of the box. I thought this would be a fun and practical gift to give someone that they could actually use. How many times do we need a quick congrats card to go with a gift to commemorate a wedding, anniversary, engagement, new home, new baby, new job or promotion?!

And one final look at the set. Oh, and the envelopes were also created with this punch board! ;)

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
