Christmas Bird House

Hi everyone! Happy Hump Day and the 8th of August already! Today is my post day on the Simply Crafty SVGs Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you, an adorable Christmas Bird House created with the Simply Crafty SVGs Bird House cut file. The sky is the limit with this one… you can create any kind of house you want! I just got several packs of Christmas papers and I was just itching to get into them! But how cute is this?! It’s a gift box!

I used an Argyle embossing folder for the roof panels.

Rows of Crystal Drops embellish the eves (on both sides) which is actually the top of the box!

I’m loving the wood grain Christmas paper! I inked the edges of all the panels for a rustic look.

And the lid comes off… I told you – it’s a gift box! Love it!

One more view of the box from overhead.

Products used:

Dies/Punches: Simply Crafty SVGs Bird House cut file
Accessories:  Cuttlebug Argyle Embossing Folder, Nuvo Woodland Green Crystal Drops

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
