Happy New Home

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year! It’s time for another fun challenge over at Stinkin’ Inkers Challenge Blog and I’m happy to share my DT inspiration project for our January It’s New To Me challenge! We’d love to see your project celebrating a new job, new baby, wedding, retirement, graduation, etc.! I created a new home card using the Hero Arts House Stamp & Cut (matching stamps and dies).

I stamped all the pieces, cut them with the coordinating dies and then colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, keeping the color scheme pretty basic. I used a grass border die across the bottom. The sun and the sentiment are heat embossed.

I left the inside blank to write a custom message.

One more look… I think this turned out pretty cute!

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment! I love reading them!
