Just Because

Hello, my crafty peeps! Happy Hump Day to you! A new challenge launched this morning over at Love To Scrap Challenge Blog and I’m stoked to share my DT inspiration project for LTCCB #34 – May Anything Goes! I created a project with lots of green (which just happens to be my favorite color) – an adorable friendship card featuring papers, digital image and sentiments from Polkadoodles.

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and layered her on a stitched rectangle die cut. I added a lacy die cut, a narrow strip of gold mirror cardstock and some bling from my stash.

I decorated in the inside with leftover strips of paper and cardstock used on the front, and added a sentiment.

And one final look… loving how this turned out. What an adorable image!

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Stampin’ Up thick and regular Very Vanilla cardstock, Stampin’ Up Always Artichoke cardstock; Marco’s Gold Mirror cardstock; papers from Polkadoodles Belle Papillon Big Kahuna Download Bundle and Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Paper Heaven 2 Bundle
Stamps: Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime digital stamp
Ink: Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle overlay marker
Dies/Punches: My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle STAX die, Crafter’s Companion Die’sire Art Deco Edge die
Accessories:  Prismacolor pencils, Darice clear rhinestones, YNS green Glitter Gumdrops

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project and will link up an ‘anything goes’ project with us this month! We can’t wait to see what you’re working on! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time!

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
