Life’s A Witch

Hi friends! Happy Monday and a big Woo-Hoo! I’m thrilled to be introduced on the blog today over at The Project Bin as the new tutorial creator! Denise is bringing the tutorials back and I’ll be creating crafty tutorials periodically to fill in gaps or when extra projects are needed. I’m so stoked to be a new DT member and am really looking forward to working with these awesome stamps and dies! I was provided the amazing Haunt It stamp set and created a fun Halloween card, my first tutorial on the blog, so if you’re interested, take a peek at that HERE

I kept with an orange, yellow and black Halloween color scheme for this card. I love that the sentiment is large and is the focal point.

I measured and cut a shaped element that matches the shape of the focal point sentiment, which is kind of cool. I used a couple of my favorite stitched dies and added some bling.

I embellished the inside panel with leftover strips of the paper and cardstock used on the front, and stamped the sentiment in black ink.

One more peek… I LOVE how this turned out! Just cracks me up, lol!

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
