Happy Easter!

Hello, friends! Hope you’re having a good week! Our new challenge is live over at Paper Funday Challenges and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! Our challenges are always Anything Goes with an optional twist each month, and our twist this month is Easter. Our sponsor is Hetty Clare and I used the adorable Flower Girl digi stamp from my stash to create a pretty Easter card.

I dipped into my new favorite paper pad and grabbed two coordinating patterned papers to use along with the two colors of cardstock. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, cut it with a stitched oval die and added a tiny white flat-back pearl to the center of each flower. The sentiment is computer-generated.

I embellished the inside panel with leftover paper and cardstock used on the front. The inside sentiment is computer-generated also.

And one more look… love how this turned out! Such an adorable image!

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D

  1. Pretty card and beautiful flowers and thank you for linking to Try it on Tuesday.
I noticed it was posted on April 1st, so unfortunately, it cannot be considered in the voting.
Stay safe and carry on crafting!

  2. Hi Cath – thanks so much for your sweet comment. The TIOT post is dated March 31st, so why is my project that was posted on April 1st not eligible for the voting process? Thanks!

  3. My apologies for my misinterpretation of the challenge rules at Try it on Tuesday, Leslie. Having clarified this with the rest of the team, I clearly misunderstood the way the term ‘backlink’ is applied. I just applied it the way I would to myself.

Thank you again for linking your very pretty card to Try it on Tuesday’s Beauty of Nature challenge.
    Happy Easter!
