Coffee Time Holiday Card

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and your week has started off nicely! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a clean and simple almost one layer caffeinated Christmas card featuring Waffle Flower stamps and dies and a strip of washi tape. And, of course, all elements were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner! I paper pieced the coffee cup with green glitter and patterned paper. This was such a simple card to create and would be a fun one to mass produce for those on your Christmas card list!

As mentioned above, all elements were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner (even a line of adhesive under the washi tape). I cut a standard A2 size top folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock, rounded the bottom right corner, and applied a strip of Eyelet Outlet Fun Pattern Washi Tape toward the bottom. I stamped the coffee cup on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock using the Waffle Flower Coffee Time stamp set and cut it with the coordinating Waffle Flower Coffee Time die set. I stamped the cup again on green glitter paper and on green plaid paper, then fussy cut and paper pieced the cup and sleeve which I adhered to the bottom right of the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and added several red gemstones from Eyelet Outlet.

The inside was equally as easy as the front. ;) I applied a strip of the same washi tape used on the front (with a line of Tape Runner adhesive under it) and stamped a sentiment from The Project Bin Merriest Christmas stamp set in green ink.

And one more look… super happy with this CAS caffeinated Christmas card! Say that fast three times, lol!

  1. Fabulous! Loving that glittery coffee cup and the Christmas colours 😁. I hope you are keeping well and many apologies that I haven’t been visiting this month, what with having a terrible cold and then afterwards having friends over (with decorating to finish and cleaning to do before their arrival) I didn’t find any time for blogging. Take care and sending you happy wishes for a wonderful week! Hugs Jo x

  2. What a fun and festive coffee card! Almost makes me crave a Peppermint Mocha, but alas there is more summer to enjoy here in the Midwest, USA!! Thank you for playing along with Jan’s Digital Stamps challenge! ~Rebekah, DT Member
