You’re My Snuggle Bunny

Hey everybody! Happy Hump Day – I hope you’re having a fabulous week! I’m playing a little catch-up over the next several days and posting some projects that I shared on social media was but not able to blog because of our internet issues. This adorable Keep It Simple DT inspiration project was created with a variety of items in the new Bunny Season Collection! I can’t get enough – this collection is so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! Everything is coordinated and there are plenty of supplies to make any kind of project you could dream up!

I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a diagonal stripe pattern from the Bunny Season 6×9 Collection Pack. I chose a super cute card and bunny die cut from the Bunny Season Die Cut Pieces for the focal element, backed it on a green solid cardstock from the Bunny Season 6×9 Cardstock Pack, and added the die cut popped up on Darice double-sided foam strips. The finishing touch was adding several pink Bunny Season Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the diagonal pattern and green solid cardstock (from the Bunny Season 6×9 Collection Pack and Cardstock Pack). I stamped a sentiment from the Bunny Season Love Grows Here stamp set in Catherine Pooler Green Grass ink.

4/23/23 CAS Weekly Favorite at Splitcoast Stampers!

Hi everybody! A big ol’ Happy Tuesday to you all! I hope your week has started off nicely! I have an awesome CutCardStock DT inspiration project to share with you today featuring our Astrobrights Eclipse Black and Pop Tone Sno Cone cardstock which I paired with my all-time favorite Neenah Classic Crest Solar White – and a piece of an empty tissue box! I love upcycling… makes me so happy! This is the second card I’ve made with an empty tissue box – the first one was for another design team (which they’ve seen) but I’m not allowed to showcase it on my blog for another few weeks, so stay tuned!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from Pop Tone Sno Cone and Astrobright Eclipse Black cardstock. Seems that tissue boxes these days come in such pretty prints, so I saved one to use for the front panel of this card. Using the Kat Scrappiness Get Well Soon Sentiment with Shadow Die, I die cut the sentiment from Astrobright Eclipse Black and the shadow from 80# Solar White. The finishing touch was adding a few gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Aquamarine Ripple Embellishment Mix using my Trinity Pick Up Stick.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White and embellished it with a leftover piece of the tissue box and strips of Pop Tone Sno Cone and Astrobright Eclipse Black cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Keep It Simple Get Well sentiment stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Scrappy hugs,

love you to the moon and back

Hi friends! I’m baaack after a five week long hiatus without internet and man, it feels GOOD to be back in the saddle! I’m lucky to have had a few projects done ahead of time with pre-scheduled posts to tide me over so you wouldn’t totally miss me, lol! I’m up on the Prickley Pear Stamps blog today with an inspiration project featuring the Moon and Stars stamps and coordinating Moon and Stars dies which are part of the amazing Celestial Collection! It’s always fun to have a variety of cute ‘love you just because’ cards in your stash, and these stamps and dies are just the ticket!

I cut a standard size A2 top-folding landscape card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from a red patterned paper in the Keep It Simple Ruby 12 x 12 Collection. Using a My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop circles STAX die, I die cut a mini stitched scalloped circle from a coordinating red patterned paper in the same 12 x 12 Collection along with a larger scalloped circle (using a Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Large die) from Solar White cardstock, and adhered them together.

I stamped several elements from the Moon and Stars stamps, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Moon and Stars dies. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White embossing powder. I added several Eyelet Outlet red gemstones which completed the card.

Hi friends! Happy Monday! It’s so hard to believe we’re nearing the middle of April already – where is the time going?! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Ally’s Angels and I’m super stoked to share my DT inspiration project for Challenge #69! This fun honeymoon travel scene was created with Eyelet Outlet Wide Road and Grass Washi Tape along with Prickley Pear Stamps Truck stamps and dies! This was definitely a fun one!

I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Astrobrights Lunar Blue and Royal Sundance Linen Eclipse Black cardstock. I fashioned the highway using Eyelet Outlet Wide Road and Grass Washi Tape. I stamped the truck from the Prickley Pear Stamps Truck stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic 80# Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and cut it with the coordinating Prickley Pear Stamps Truck die set.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of CutCardStock Astrobrights Lunar Blue and a very narrow strip of scrap Solar White cardstock. ‘To someone sew nice’ Matchbook

5/7/23 Art Impressions Fan Feature!

Hey everybody! A very Happy Saturday to you all! I hope you have something fun planned this weekend! I’m stoked to share that I’m once again guest designing for the lovely Rachelle over at Scrapping4fun Challenges! One of my projects scored a Shout Out Creation honor a few weeks back, so here I am with a GD project for Challenge #222 – Ladies/Girls + Add Layers! I’m so in love with the Art Impressions Matchbook line (and several other Ai lines to be truthful!) and really enjoyed creating this sewing-themed Matchbook! It fits the theme perfectly!

Using the Art Impressions Matchbook Template Die, I cut the base from a double-sided piece of patterned paper from Polly’s Paper Studio. I stamped all the layers from the Art Impressions Sewing Room Stamps on CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating dies.

Then came the fun of assembling this adorable little Matchbook. Next I created the tiny little envelope using the Art Impressions Matchbook Envelope Dies and another double-sided patterned paper from Polly’s Paper Studio. ;)

Here are a couple more angled shots. So stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!

Scrappy hugs,

Hello

Hi friends! Another weekend has rolled around and I can’t believe it’s April 1st already! I’m thrilled to share that I’m guesting for Deanne over at If You Give A Crafter A Cookie this month, so here I am with a project for Challenge #179 April – Green! Green just happens to be my favorite color so I used lots of green on this friendship card featuring the Art Impressions Oh Sing Window Stamp and the Shadowbox Window Die! I totally love the Ai window stamps line!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from a pretty pale green floral paper from the Stampin’ Up All Abloom Designer Series Paper Pack. I die cut the window through the front flap and assembled the window frame and apron which I die cut from CutCardStock Pop Tone Jellybean Green cardstock. I die cut the sentiment from Jellybean Green and Camomile cardstock and layered them together beneath the window.

Using the Art Impressions Oh Sing Window Stamp and Cornflower Blue, Yellow, Olive Green, May Green, Deep Green, Light Gray, Gray, and Gray Brown Zig Clean Color Real Brushmarkers, I colored the image, trimmed it and adhered it in the shadowbox.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the pale green floral paper and Jellybean Green cardstock used on the front. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Happy Thing stamp set in Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus ink.
