Hello Spring fun fold

Hey everybody, happy weekend! I hope you have something fun planned! I have another awesome ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the April 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. I’m calling this fun fold an anchored swing flap which is a variation of the regular swing flap fun fold that I’ve been making over the years. The papers and elements in this kit are absolutely amazing and I’m really enjoying making these Spring-themed cards!

I cut the card base from CutCardStock Pop Tone Jellybean Green cardstock and then cut a rectangular aperture into the front flap using a Love From Lizi Stitched Rectangle Nested Cutting Die. I reserved the stitched rectangle die cut to use for the focal image. I then added a green glitter panel (cut from American Crafts POW Cricket Glitter paper) just prior to adhering the focal image which I trimmed from a journaling card in the kit. I added a chipboard sentiment from Rosie’s Studio Frolic Chipboard Embellishments in the upgrades along with a few gold pearls, which completed the card front.

I cut the swing flap panel on the inside from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips cut from prints in the collection and a sticker, along with another chipboard sentiment from the upgrades. I’ve included an additional image from overhead so you can see the U shape of the anchored swing flap which is the difference between the regular swing flap fun folds you’ve seen me make over the years.
