Hey everybody – happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed some nice Spring weather! I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog today with a pretty fun fold for Mother’s Day. For this anchored swing flap, I used patterned paper, washi tape, dies and stamps that haven’t seen the light of day in a while, and that made my heart happy. Of course, I used some pretty amazing adhesives and other complimentary products from Scrapbook Adhesives to put it together!

I’ve made quite a few swing flap fun folds over the past several years and this one is an anchored swing flap which is kind of a fun twist. I won’t go into huge detail here, so be sure to see my tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives blog to see how I made this one. This card features pretty embellishments made using the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique – I used wrinkled gold and red foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors which compliments the CutCardStock Flamingo cardstock.

I also used CutCardStock Bright Gold Foil cardstock which compliments the gold foil in the Pinkfresh Studio Hydrangea & Rose Washi Tape cut with the coordinating die. Most of the construction was done with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips but also used Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix along with the Dual Tip Glue Pen.

I used the Stampin’ Up Happy & Heartfelt stamp set for the sentiments which I stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. The overhead photo on the below right shows the extra score line with the flap folded backwards to anchor the swing flap. Neat, huh?!
