Best Buds

Hey everybody, happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week! I’m delighted to share a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you today created with papers, stamps and dies from our new Adventure & Beyond collection, along with our new Embossed Circles Dies (coming soon) and our Nested Stitched Circles Dies! This front flap card is among my top ten favorite fun folds and is an easy one to make. As with any of the fun folds I make, let me know if you’d like the instructions. ;)

I cut the flat card base and an embossed circle from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Antique Gold cardstock, the front flap from Classic Crest Recycled 100% Classic Natural cardstock, and layering panels and a stitched circle from assorted prints in the Adventure & Beyond 12×12 Collection Pack.

I stamped the pony from The Toybox Collection Stamps and the horse shoe from the Playtime Collection Stamps in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored them with alcohol markers. I cut the pony with the coordinating Outline Die and fussy cut the horse shoe. I assembled the card, popping up the pony on foam squares. I stamped a sentiment from the Playtime Collection Stamps and added several Kraft Enamel Dots.

I embellished the inside of the front flap with a strip of paper used on the front and a stamped/die cut image. I stamped a sentiment from the Playtime Collection Stamps in the Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and this completed this super cute card.
