02/25/26 Top 3 at the Creative Crafters Challenge!

Hi friends, happy Tuesday – I hope your week is going along nicely! I’m up on the CutCardStock blog today with a tutorial for making a very cool masculine birthday card. I used a variety of our cardstock along with a Solar White pre-folded card base. And this die set is one of those in the new Spellbinders collection that I’m totally in love with! It’s such an amazing collection that will be popular for a long time, I’m sure.

I won’t go into too much detail here so be sure to see my tutorial on the CutCardStock blog. I used a 110# Solar White A2 pre-folded card base, 80# Solar White cardstock, Stardream Metallic Lagoon, Pop Tone Hot Fudge, Pop Tone Black Licorice, Bright Silver Foil, Royal Sundance Kraft Fiber cardstock, and Glama Natural Clear Translucent Vellum.

I used the Spellbinders Timeless Truck Dies, Classic Sentiments Dies, and Cruisin’ By Sentiments Stamp & Die Bundle. Embossing folders seem to be making a comeback so I dug out an argyle one for the front panel on this which I popped up on thick craft foam. I added the truck and sentiment strip. It’s a super simple design!

I cut the inside panel from Solar White and embellished it with a leftover strip of the Lagoon cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and layered the panel on Black Licorice cardstock.

Let the Fun Begin z-fold mini album

Hey everybody – how’s the weather where you are?! Tis the season to be freezin’ here! We really didn’t feel the cold (or heat) out in southwestern Colorado because of the low humidity, but it’s pretty high here and we are definitely feeling it. I’m a cooler weather kind of girl but have to admit that I’m counting down the days until we see some warmer weather!

I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog today sharing a tutorial for making a super cute z-fold mini album. And yep, you guessed it… this one is for documenting some fun Summer activities! As mentioned in my post several weeks ago, Doodlebug Design invited our design team to collaborate with them so I used a ton of their products along with awesome Scrapbook Adhesives products for the assembly.

I won’t go into too much detail here on this post, so be sure to visit the Scrapbook Adhesives blog to see my tutorial. I cut the album base from CutCardStock 12×12 Twine cardstock and used all kinds of Doodlebug textured cardstock, patterned paper, enamels and die cut pieces to bring this fun mini album to life. I used our E-Z Runner Micro Refillable Dispenser, E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser, Dual Tip Glue Pen, and Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix to put it all together.

All the pockets are decorated, and there are tags and pull-outs tucked into the pockets for photos and journaling. Here are close-ups of all five sections on the front and the two on the back. To say this was fun is an understatement, lol! You know I love me some mini albums! And the more colorful they are, the better I like them!

01-26-26 Top 3 Winner at Make My Monday Challenge Blog!

Hey everybody, I hope you’re having a good week so far! Ed and I have been down with Covid for 8-9 days now and it’s kicking my butt like nothing I’ve ever experienced. We’re both high risk and we’ve had all the vaccinations and boosters so far, so I guess we can consider ourselves lucky to have escaped it until now. I will tell you it’s some nasty stuff. So I’m a couple days late posting this beautiful card for Keep It Simple. It’s another layered diamonds pop-up card which has quickly moved to the top of my favorites list. My inspiration came from Connie Stewart and features papers and die cut pieces from our beautiful new La Vie En Rose collection.

UPDATE: This card was a true fan favorite, and on 02/10/26 a tutorial was added to the How-To’s section on the Keep It Simple website. Be sure to check it out if you want to learn how to make it!

I cut the card base and diamond layers from CutCardStock Basis Red and Natural cardstock, along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the La Vie En Rose 6×9 Collection Pack. I used image and sentiment die cuts from the La Vie En Rose Die Cut Pieces to finished off the card front.

I cut the sentiment panel on the back from Basis Natural cardstock and added a sentiment panel from the cut-apart sheet in the collection which completed the card. This is such a pretty fold, and having pretty papers and die cut pieces really takes it to the next level!

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi friends, happy happy weekend! I hope you’re having a fun one! I have had THE best time creating Winter-themed projects… ’tis the season to be freezin’, right?! I have one more ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the January 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. Now, we wait patiently for the February kit, lol! I’m sure I’ve mentioned that the triple z-fold is one of my absolute favorite fun folds and I’ve made lots of them over the past few years. I used elements from everything in this month’s collection to make this one, and I love how it turned out!

I cut the card base pieces and strips from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Collection Kit. I used a Love From Lizi Stitched Stitched Rectangle Nested Cutting Die to create the background for the focal panel. I added a Little Birdie Scroll Border Frame from the upgrades and then tucked a trimmed journaling card inside the frame. I finished off the front with (yep, you guessed it…) two stars from the Rosie’s Studio Glitter Foam Stickers from the upgrades.

I cut the back panel from Solar White cardstock and layered it on a green print from the collection. I added a tag from the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Frames & Tags from the upgrades along with a die cut bow (cut with a Scrapbook.com Bow Toppers Shape Die). This fun fold design is one that never disappoints!

hello Winter

Hey everybody, happy Saturday – I hope you have something fun planned this weekend! I have another gorgeous ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the January 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. This is another version of the tri-fold which is made in a vertical orientation versus the usual one we see in a horizontal orientation. And the cool thing about this one is the bottom flap can be adhered on both sides and a gift card (or mini card) tucked in. I’ve made several of these over the past few months and I always love how they turn out! And, of course, it always helps to have gorgeous papers and elements to bring them to life!

I cut the flat card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and covered it with a patterned paper panel cut from a print in the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Collection Kit. I cut the tri-fold portion of the card from 80# Solar White along with layering panels cut from CutCardStock Bright Gold Foil and a pretty floral print in the collection. I added a ‘hello’ sentiment taken from the Rosie’s Studio Glitter Foam Stickers (in the upgrades) and included the trimmed and layered ‘winter’ word from a journaling card in the collection. I finished off the front with several dots of Neptune Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I layered another print from the collection and another panel of the gold foil cardstock on the smaller flap at the bottom. That’s the one I mentioned above that could be adhered on both sides with a gift card or mini card tucked inside. I cut the sentiment panel from 80# Solar White and layered it on CutCardStock Basis Dark Orange. I added an embellishing strip and a sentiment from the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Frames & Tags in the upgrades.

Snow Days Are The Best Days

Hey everybody, I hope your week is going along at a nice pace. Can’t believe it’s Friday already! I have another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the January 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. This hidden gate fold is really a fun one to make that packs a punch. I made one back in September for another design team and felt like it was time to make another one to show off the pretty papers and other elements in this month’s collection!

I cut the card base and top-folding smaller card from CutCardStock Lessebo Moss Green cardstock along with layering panels from a couple coordinating prints in the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Collection Kit. I added a trimmed journaling card from the collection as well as a piece of ephemera from the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Frames & Tags (in the upgrades) which I popped up on foam squares. And of course I just had to add a couple stars from the Rosie’s Studio Glitter Foam Stickers (also from the upgrades). They are so pretty! ;)

I cut the inside panel of the smaller card from 80# Solar White, embellished it with a leftover strip of the green floral paper used, and added a sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet. This is such an easy card that works up in about 30 minutes!

Let It Snow

1/10/26 Weekly Favorite at Splitcoast Stampers!

Howdy peeps, happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a great week! I have a pretty ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the January 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. This layered diamonds pop-up card is off the chain! My inspiration came from Connie Stewart and although it’s the second one I’ve made, it’s the first one to be showcased on my blog. You’ll see the other one in a few days, so stay tuned! It sure packs a punch with pretty papers and embellishments!

I cut the card base and diamond bases from CutCardStock Lessebo Navy Blue cardstock along with layering panels from two prints in the Carta Bella Winter Wonderland Collection Kit and the focal diamond from Neenah Classic Crest Recycled Natural White cardstock. I added image and sentiment stickers from the sticker sheet in the collection kit, along with a couple stars from the Rosie’s Studio Glitter Foam Stickers in the upgrades.

I cut the back panel from the Recycled Natural White cardstock, embellished it with a leftover scrap of the floral paper used on the front, and added an additional sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet.

I’m glad you exist

Hey everybody – I hope you had a good weekend and you’re not planning to work too hard this week! I’m up on the CutCardStock blog today with a tutorial for making a fun alien ship box card. I used a variety of our cardstock which I have listed below. The cut file is from Cyndy G SVG which I paired with the Milky Way stamp set from The Project Bin, and I really love how this turned out! I did chuckle a tiny bit while assembling this! ;)

Using the Alien Ship Box Card SVG cut file from Cyndy G and my Cricut Explore Air 2, I cut all the pieces from Wedding Cake, Stardream Metallic Silver, Pop Tone Black Licorice, Lava Stone Gray, Rubber Ducky, Green Curry, Aqua, and Lessebo Dawn Maroon cardstock.

I assembled the box card and just prior to adhering the white circle on the back, I stamped a very appropriate sentiment from The Project Bin Milky Way stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink. Oh, this was such a fun one! Be sure to see my tutorial on the CutCardStock blog!

HBD2U Truck Shaker

Hey everybody! I hope you had a great weekend! I’m delighted to share a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you today created with our amazing Back To Basics Vintage Truck Dies along with papers and die cut pieces from our Happy Birthday collection. Everybody knows that there is nothing more fun than a shaker card, so I transformed the tailgate on this truck into a shaker!

Using the Back To Basics Vintage Truck Dies, I cut the card base from Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from assorted prints in the Happy Birthday 6×9 Collection Pack. I added some Happy Birthday die cut pieces and then fashioned the shaker using our Shaker Basics Foam & Acetate along with Pearl Hearts Sequins from our Sprinkles line.

I added a couple more Happy Birthday die cut pieces to the inside panel which completed this fun card.

Thinking Of You

03/01/26 Random Winner at Mix it Up Challenge Blog!

Hey everybody – I hope your new year has started off nicely! I posted a couple weeks ago on Facebook that the girlfriend of my longtime friend’s grandson was injured by a hit-and-run driver while riding her bike and was injured pretty badly. Both her legs, her pelvis and one elbow were broken, and she’s undergone a couple surgeries. She’s had a lot of people praying for her and has healed well enough to be transferred to a rehab facility. Since all my design team work is caught up for the year, I took a little time to make some cards for her that I’ll be sharing – I want to spread them out so she consistently gets happy mail. This first one is a shadow box card that I made with some Doodlebug Design products in my stash. I love me some bright colors – and the brighter the better!

I cut the card base from CutCardStock Amaranth Pink cardstock along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the Doodlebug Design Summer Fun 12×12 Paper Pack. I used a Honey Bee Double-Stitched Frames die to cut the aperture and then embellished the front and inside with Summer Fun Chit Chat Die Cut Pieces and Summer Fun Puffy Words. The bow on the tag was made with the bow die in the Spellbinders Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals die set.

I added a Solar White die cut panel (using the same Honey Bee die) to the back and embellished it with a few puffy flowers. I left it blank to write a custom message. LOVE how this turned out!
