another birthday?

Hi everyone! Hope you’ve had a good week – time sure is passing by rather quickly! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers! I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our December ATC Challenge is Bling and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

December 2019 ATC

I created a super cute and rather humorous birthday ATC this month. I absolutely love this Great Impressions sentiment stamp, and needless to say I chuckled a few times while this was in the making, lol!

2019_08170018a

I created a pretty blingy candle die cut with DCWV Washi Tape Basics-Glitter and Foil affixed to cardstock for a little dimension. I love a little paper (well, cardstock) piecing! I finished the ATC off with a few tiny iridescent stars.

And here’s one more look. Not sure if I’ll keep this or if I’ll trade it. Loving how it turned out!

Love me some shoes!

Hi everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers! I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our October ATC Challenge is Anything Goes with a set of 3 and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month! I’ve always had a shoe fetish (thanks to my oldest sister who taught me well) and I used the most adorable stamp set to create a set of three ATCs (coins) featuring shoes!

October 2019 ATC

I stayed with a black and white color combo with a pop of gold for these coins. I’ve had this Paper Pretties stamp set in my stash for several years and can’t believe I’m just now (finally) getting around to using it – it’s so stinkin’ cute! And I can’t believe I found papers in my stash to match the prints on the shoes, lol! I embellished each coin with black/gold skinny Washi Tape and a few gold sequins.

2019_0813005a

Here are individual shots of the coins. I’m so tickled with how they turned out! Not sure if I want to trade them or keep them for myself, lol! ;)

Under the Sea

Hi everyone! Hope you’ve had a good week! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers! I’m super excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our September ATC Challenge is Ocean/Sea and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I created an ATC base with thick white cardstock, punched the corners with a ticket corner punch, and spritzed just a hint of blue india ink and Perfect Pearls in a mister onto a sea waves stencil.

2019_0811004a

While the background was drying, I stamped all the images, colored them, and die cut them. I stamped the sentiment and arranged my underwater scene. ;)

One more look… I absolutely love how this turned out! What an adorable scene!

kindred spirits

Hello, my crafty friends! I hope you’re having a good week! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers! I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our August ATC Challenge is Time and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I created an ATC for a BFF – a best friend I’ve known for about 45 years. Yes, we go waaaaay back, lol! In keeping with the challenge theme, I used a very cool clock stamp for the background and then heat embossed it.

2019_0728009a

I dug through my October Afternoon stash of ephemera and stickers, and found several pieces to embellish the front of the ATC.

Noteworthy

Hi everyone! Hope you had a good week! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our July ATC Challenge is Floral and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

July 2019 ATC

I created a card rather than a coin this month, and my card features an inlaid floral die cut which is super easy to do. You simply die cut the main background, then die cut again using colored cardstock and insert the colored cardstock piece(s) into the negative space on the background.

2019_0624001a

I used 120# kraft cardstock for the ATC. I cut the branch from Garden Green cardstock and used red, pink and yellow DCWV  Washi Foil for the flowers. I completed the ATC with small clear rhinestones in the centers of the flowers and a sentiment sticker from Tim Holtz Metallic Quotations stickers.

2019_0624002a

I’m really loving how this turned out and I hope to trade it! ;)

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a great week so far! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our June ATC Challenge is Christmas and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I’m really diggin’ creating ATCs and I’m SO happy to be on this design team! I belong to a couple ATC trading groups and have gotten a couple very awesome coins from a gal in the UK!

2019_0310001a

I used 120# kraft cardstock for my ATC base and I rounded the corners on this one. I adhered two KaiserCraft Letters to Santa papers together to create the background, cut the panel to size, rounded the corners and inked the edges. I stamped some text on the plain side of the background panel and added some skinny gold glitter Washi Tape to distinguish the two sides.

2019_0310002a

I created a couple of tags, inked the edges and connected them at the top with some green bamboo cord. I added a file tab decorated with some black/gold skinny Washi Tape to the left side of the top tag and a faux wax stamp (paper coated with Glossy Accents). I colored a tiny doily with a green alcohol marker and tucked it under the right side of the embellished tags. Super easy and fun – and I love how it turned out!

hello my friend

Hi everyone! The weekends sure do fly by – I hope you had a good one! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our May ATC Challenge is Hello and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I created a coin this month, using a Fiskars 2-1/2″ round punch and two layers of thick Whisper White cardstock to create the coin base. I adhered two pieces of pretty coordinating patterned paper together and punched a circle to create the background.

2019_0310004a

I used my favorite ‘hello’ die and cut two thick cardstock layers (which I adhered together) along with one layer from a third piece of the coordinating patterned papers that I adhered on top.

2019_0310005a

I stamped the sentiment across the bottom in black ink and embossed it in clear embossing powder, and then adhered the layered die cut at an angle just above it. I added some gold sequins to complete the coin. Love, love, love!

I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our April ATC Challenge is Pretty Papers and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I’m in love with the ATC I created for this month’s challenge, lol! These digital papers are so darn pretty that I almost couldn’t make myself cut them up!

2019_0202004a

I inked the edges of all the elements, adhered them in place, and added a die cut bow.

2019_0202005a

The final touch was some pretty gemstones – tiny ones scattered around the background and one larger one on the center of the bow.

I Love You

Hi everyone! Hope you had a good weekend! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our March ATC Challenge is Hearts and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I created my first-ever coin and I’m loving the coin paired with the Hearts theme this month! I used two coordinating patterned papers, a couple die cuts and some tiny punched hearts.

2019_0309001a

I colored the dots on the top portion of the coin with a Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. I thought some shimmer would give this coin a little interest. I stamped ‘I Love You’ over the top of the stamped and die cut string of hearts, and then added a die cut arrow and a few tiny punched hearts.

2019_0309002a

One final look… I’m really loving how this turned out. Not bad for a first attempt, eh?!
