Hello mini slimline

Hi everyone! Happy Hump Day! Can you believe we’re on the downslide to the end of March already? Where is the time going?! I have an awesome CutCardStock DT inspiration project to share with you today featuring my favorite Classic Crest which I paired with a nice variety of other cardstock in the store! In addition to the Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, I used Bright Gold Foil; Pop Tone Cotton Candy, Jellybean Green and Gumdrop Green; Stardream Metallic Azalea and Flame; Basis Dark Orange, and textured Kale Green and Mantis cardstock for this CAS mini slimline. I used to be very intimidated by clean and simple, but over the past few years I’ve been loving it more and more!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White along with a background panel from 80# Solar White using the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Quilted Backdrop Die. Using the Sizzix Geo Floral Frame Thinlits, I cut the frames from Bright Gold Foil, and all the flowers and leaves from Pop Tone Cotton Candy, Pop Tone Jellybean Green, Pop Tone Gumdrop Green, Stardream Metallic Azalea, Stardream Metallic Flame, Basis Dark Orange, Kale Green and Mantis cardstock. I assembled the focal element and then cut the sentiment from Azalea cardstock using the Art Impressions Windows to the World Die. The finishing touch was adding several Eyelet Outlet 4mm pink pearls.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips cut from Azalea and Gold Foil cardstock. I added a foiled sentiment created with my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, Glimmer Gold Foil and Glimmer Mini Everyday Sentiments Plate & Die Set.

Happy Valentine’s Day mini slimline

Howdy peeps! Happy Tuesday – I hope you’re having a good week so far! I’m happy to be back to share the last ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project I created with the awesome February 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! Now we wait for the March kit, lol! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing with all the papers, stickers and upgrades in this month’s collection and created a simple mini slimline Valentine. I saved the easiest for last!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock along with a layering panel for the focal image from CutCardStock Basis Black cardstock. Using the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Quilted Backdrop Die, I die cut the front panel from a pretty red floral paper in the kit. I layered one of the larger journaling cards from the kit on the black panel and adhered the piece at an angle to the card front. The finishing touch was adding two Hobby Lobby red epoxy hearts.

I cut the inside panel from Basis White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the red floral paper from the kit and Basis Black used on the front. I added a smaller journaling card from the kit which completed the card.

Hi everyone! Well, another week has passed us by and we’re on the down-slide to the end of February already! I’m delighted to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today, created with the February 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! February is the month of love so I made another one of my favorite cards – a chocolate bar card! Who doesn’t love chocolate?! This card was featured in a Splitcoast Stampers newsletter a while back HERE so I made one for my daughter-in-law’s birthday and thought it only fitting to make another one for Valentine’s Day!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from CutCardStock Vanilla Bean Brown cardstock along with layering panels from coordinating patterned papers in the kit and some torn CutCardStock Bright Gold Foil cardstock. I added a sentiment from the sticker sheet and a large red heart gemstone from the upgrades with some looped Coats & Clark Metallic Gold sewing thread behind it, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the floral patterned paper used on the front and CutCardStock Basis Red. The finishing touch was adding a sentiment from the sticker sheet.

Hey everybody! Happy first day of February… already! Can you believe it?! Mom and Dad would have been married 75 years today and I’m sure they are celebrating that Diamond Anniversary in Heaven! I’m delighted to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share! This mini slimline features products from the Household Chore Gnomes collection that was released last September! You know I love me some gnomes and these are some of the cutest ever!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with strips and a layering panel from papers in the Household Chore Gnomes Collection Pack and the Back To Basics Royal Collection Pack. I stamped the gnome, bubbles and soap from the Household Chore Gnomes Work Hard Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Solar White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Household Chore Gnomes Work Hard Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Catherine Poole Suede Shoes ink and added several Back To Basics Royal Enamel Dots.

1/28/23 Top 5 Barnraiser at FarmQuest Challenge Blog!

Hey everybody! Happy Thursday – I hope you’re having a fabulous week! We’re on the downslide toward the end of January already! Can you believe it?! I’m thrilled to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share today! This mini slimline birthday card features die cut pieces and sentiment stamps from the Little Cowgirl Birthday collection which I paired with papers and enamel hearts from the Rose collection. The Little Cowgirl Birthday collection was released back in September, and if you haven’t already checked it out, you really oughta! There are SO many absolutely adorable papers, stamps, dies, and die cut elements that are perfect for little girl (or big girl) cards!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and a pink buffalo check layering panel from the Back To Basics Rose Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, and rounded the bottom right corner of each. I added cowgirl and critter die cuts from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Die Cut Pieces and stamped the sentiment from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. The finishing touch was adding a couple small enamel hearts.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar white cardstock and embellished it with a leftover strip of the pink buffalo check used on the front. I stamped the sentiment (also from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set) in Rich Cocoa ink, and layered the panel on another print from the Back To Basics Rose Collection Pack.

Scrappy hugs,

Peace mini slimline card

Hi everyone! OMGosh, St. Nick will be here tonight… are you ready?! He’s coming regardless, lol! I have an awesome CutCardStock DT inspiration project to share with you today featuring more of our Stardream Metallic cardstock! This cardstock has the softest shimmer and is some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen! I’ve used Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstock and Stardream Metallic Jupiter cardstock on this mini slimline card, and I love how it turned out!

I cut my favorite mini slimline card size of 3-1/2″ x 6″ from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. Using the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Foliage Frame die, I cut the frame from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstsock, and adhered it to the card base. Next, using the Sizzix Script Holiday Words Thinlits, I die cut the sentiment three times from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Jupiter cardstock and layered them together for a little dimension. I clipped the prongs off of four Eyelet Outlet Poinsettia Flower Brads (didn’t want the bulk under the frame) and adhered them with Ranger Distress Collage Medium. The finishing touch was adding several Darice tiny clear gemstones.

Using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers dies, I cut the inside panels from the Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstock and Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, and adhered them together. I stamped a sentiment from the CAS-ual Friday Stamps Snowy Sayings stamp set in Catherine Pooler Rouge ink.

celebrate mini slimline

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Wow, this week went by rather quickly, didn’t it?! We’re that much closer to Christmas! I have an awesome CutCardStock DT inspiration project to share with you today featuring our Stardream Metallic cardstock which is among my favorites! This white-on-white mini slimline Christmas card turned out gorgeous but was hard as heck to photograph! I really love creating tone-on-tone projects – they really pack a punch!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. I cut four frames from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Eris cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Fri-Frame Dies, and adhered them together for some dimension. Using the Sizzix Woodlands Thinlits, Sizzix Primitive Stars Framelits and Sizzix Script Celebration Words Thinlits, I die cut two trees, a star and the sentiment from the Stardream Metallic Eris cardstock, and created the scene on the card front. The finishing touch was adding several Darice tiny gemstones.

Using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers dies, I cut the inside panels from the Stardream Metallic Eris and Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock. I embellished the Solar White panel with a narrow strip cut from the Eris cardstock, and stamped the sentiment from the Prickley Pear Stamps Christmas Trees stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a great week! I’m excited to be back sharing another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today. The Halloween-themed prints and colors of the papers in this collection, along with the coordinating stickers and upgrades, are amazing.
