Howdy peeps! I hope you are having a great week and looking forward to doing something fun this weekend! I have one last ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the September 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing with this kit – loving all the coordination between the travel-themed papers and stickers to the elements in the upgrades!
I created another version of the double flap fun fold. There are literally a gazillion versions of the double flap fun fold out there. Connie Stewart has two videos on her YouTube channel for this version – one from five years ago HERE and a live from last year HERE. I definitely recommend using a lighter weight double-sided paper for the folded card base rather than cardstock like I used on this one, as it made the card a bit too thick.
I used CutCardStock Lessebo Brick Orange for the folded card base, Papertrey Ink Canyon Clay for the card back and Papertrey Ink Americana for the small rectangle on the front. All the patterned paper layers were cut from prints in the Simple Stories Open Road 12×12 Collection Kit. I added an epoxy sticker from The Paper Studio Stick-a-bilities Travel Epoxy Stickers in the upgrades to the front along with a sticker from the sticker sheet which I popped up on a foam square. I added a few more stickers from the sticker sheet to the striped double flap panel.
I cut the inside panel from Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a leftover plaid strip used on the front triangle panels. I added a couple more stickers from the sticker sheet which completed this cute card.
