Berta’s Ride

Hi everyone! A very Happy Hump Day to you! The closing date on our house was  postponed so we’re looking forward to moving the first weekend in April! I have a fun post for you today – a project created with Simply Crafty SVGs free Treatmobile cut file. As soon as Sandy added this cut file to the store, I had to have it. My sister, Roberta, had a 1964 VW Beetle back in the day that she affectionately called Herbie. She passed away in 1988 and I’ve never forgotten all the fun we had in that car. Our road trips were amazing. I could go on and on as I reminisce!

I used white cardstock for the car base, and medium and dark shades of purple cardstock for the car parts. I used a sweet floral patterned paper for the doors.

I just can’t get over the cuteness overload! Loving how this turned out and I can’t wait to gift it! ;)

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Stampin’ Up Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Basic Black cardstock; Pebbles Basics 6×6 paper pad
Dies/Punches: Simply Crafty SVGs free Treatmobile cut file

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this awesome little project I created with the free cut file from Simply Crafty SVGs! Pop on over and grab it, and while you’re there, be sure to check out all the other fun designs! You’ll leave there a happy camper, I’m sure! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
