Surf Shack

Hello, my crafty friends! I am so excited to share my latest DT inspiration project for Simply Crafty SVGs – a Surf Shack! I am so in love with how this turned out! I used the Love Shack cut file, along with elements from these cut files: Surfer’s Paradise Card (surf board and tree), Fishing Boat Box (life preserver) and Mountain Camping Box Card (chair). OMG… I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this!

As part of the transformation of this cut file from Love Shack to Surf Shack, all of the walls, roof shingles and door pieces are stamped with a woodgrain background stamp which I thought added a fun touch. I added ‘rope’ to the life preserver and sparkle overlay marker to the surf board for some shimmer.

Here are a few more shots from all angles. I just LOVE this! Squeal! ;)

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: GKD Pure Luxury Ivory, White, Dark Chocolate, Black Onyx, Cherry Red, Grass Green, Wild Dandelion and Tomato Soup cardstock
Stamps: Stampin’ Up Hardwood background stamp
Ink: Memento Espresso Truffle ink, Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle Overlay marker
Dies/Punches: Love ShackSurfer’s Paradise CardFishing Boat Box and Mountain Camping Box Card cut files
Accessories:  Hemptique Bamboo Cord

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project and will check out all the fun cut files over at Simply Crafty SVGs! OMG, there are too many to name, and lots of free ones to try if you’re new to using an electronic die cutting machine! You’ll become addicted in no time, lol! ;) Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time!

Scrappy hugs,
