Busy Flower Flip Flop

Hello, my crafty peeps! Hope you’re having a great weekend! A new challenge is live this morning over at Love To Craft Challenge Blog and I’m happy to share my DT inspiration project for LTCCB #24 – July Anything Goes! I created another sandal for my paper shoe collection – crafted from some gorgeous but busy flowered patterned paper with an embossed sole!

I used two coordinating papers from Dare 2B Artsy, and fussy cut several large flowers to create a layered piece to decorate the sandal.

I used my flip flop template which is a freebie on my blog HERE. These little sandals are so flippin’ cute! I wish I could wear them, lol!

And here’s the embossed sole. Love, love, love!

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: GKD Ocean Mist cardstock, D2BA Blooms and Fields of Bloom papers
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black marker
Accessories: Darice Chevron embossing folder, Glossy Accents

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this project and will link up with us this month! We’d love to see what you’re working on! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you soon! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D

  1. This is absolutely brilliant Leslie-I would live in flip flops and have been known to wear them into Dec if no rain or snow-have even had to walk home barefoot if it rained whilst out-much to my grandaughters amazement-I love the flowered paper and the fussy cut ones on the top.Your bronze and black one is fabulous and would definitely wear that one!!!
