Believe

Hi everyone! Can you believe it’s the last day of February already?! I’m telling you, it’ll be Christmas again before we know it! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a pretty encouragement card in navy blue and pale pink, another one of my favorite color combos, and of course, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. I’m donating this card to the Bearly Arts Cards for Cubs project, and encouragement is one of the themes requested, so here we are!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the sentiment and the narrow strips. I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and rounded the bottom right corner. I also cut a blue layering panel from CutCardStock Royal Sundance Linen Midnight Blue and a narrow strip from CutCardStock Curious Metallic Pink Quartz cardstock and adhered them to the card base. I had a STAMPlorations Blue Blooms ATC in my stash that was part of a Paper Goods sampler included with one of my orders a while back, so I rounded the bottom right corner and adhered it to the card front, popping it up on the right side with thin double-sided 3-D foam squares so it’s even with the cardstock panel and strip on the left side. Using the STAMPlorations Believe word die, I die cut the sentiment from the pink quartz cardstock and adhered it in a vertical fashion on the left side of the ATC. The finishing touch was adding three Eyelet Outlet pink enamel dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of CutCardStock Curious Metallic Pink Quartz cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Altenew Painted Butterflies stamp set in Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist ink and layered the panel on CutCardStock Royal Sundance Linen Midnight Blue cardstock.

And one more look… so happy with how this turned out! I do love the color combo, and I love the secure assembly with this awesome Tape Runner!

Happy Easter

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and getting a little craft time in! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve stopped in this morning to share another sample I created for the Prickley Pear Stamps new release. This card showcases the beautiful new Easter Cross stamp set along with the Crosses 2 stamp set and the Cross die set which were already in the store. It’s always fun to play with new stamps that compliment previously-released products! I love the embossed vellum scarf on this card!

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from CutcardStock Basis 110# White cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock and frame elements from CutCardStock Basis Light Brown cardstock and CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Azalea cardstock using the Papertrey Ink Noted: Scalloped A2 Die Collection. I stamped the cross from the Crosses 2 stamp set in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink, cut it with the Cross die set and colored the tiny flowers with alcohol markers, then added some shimmer with a Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. I added the scarf which I stamped on vellum in brown ink, added Hero Arts clear embossing powder and heat set, and then fussy cut. I didn’t need to use Versamark to heat emboss because the ink stays wet a little longer on the vellum. I stamped the sentiment (from the Crosses 2 stamp set) in Catherine Pooler Be Mine ink and added several gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Morganite Muse Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick Up Stick.

I cut the inside panels from CutCardStock Basis Light Brown cardstock and CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock, and adhered them together. I stamped the sentiment and small flower cluster from the Easter Cross stamp set in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink and adhered the piece to the inside of the card base.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out. These are must-have stamps and dies, and the pop of pink on the neutral cardstock looks amazing!

Merry Christmas Cardinals

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! You all know that I create Christmas crafts all year long, and this pretty card features our Cardinal Brads, Cardinal Profile Brads, Female Cardinal Brads and Clear Jewel Bling Strips. I absolutely love cardinals and thoroughly enjoyed creating this card with my Scan N Cut. Many people believe that a loved one is watching over us if a cardinal appears, and that’s what I always think of when I see one! ;)

I cut the card base from American Crafts White cardstock, and the remaining pieces from CutCardStock Basis Gray, Basis Red, Dolphin, and Curious Metallic White Silver cardstock. I added a Cardinal Brad, a Cardinal Profile Brad and a Female Cardinal Brad to the birch trees, and then added a Clear Jewel Bling Strip down each side for a little festive bling.

Here’s another angled shot.

And one more look… folded flat for mailing! This card is amazing and the three kinds of cardinal brads I used are some of my favorites in the Eyelet Outlet store!

Scrappy hugs,

Baby It’s Cold Outside

Happy Friday, everybody! We’re down another week – and we’ll be down another month in just a few days! Time is flying by! I’m excited to be back on the Clear Scraps blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! Since we still have a little bit more of the cold stuff ahead of us, I created a pretty Winter shaker note card featuring our Mini Shaker Window as well as our 4×6 Stars Stencil which I used for the night sky. I can only imagine how these cats feel looking out the window at the full moon in the starry sky, sparkling tall trees and snow banks! I’d be in love, lol!

I cut a standard A2 size card base from white cardstock and adhered a panel of patterned paper to it. I cut a panel of blue cardstock slightly larger than the shaker window, applied white paint over the 4×6 Stars Stencil with a dauber, then added a strip of glitter tall tree washi tape and two layers of snowbanks created from torn white cardstock. I traced the shape of the Mini Shaker Window on the panel, cut it out and adhered it to the back layer of the shaker. I always work from the bottom up when assembling shakers. I adhered the next two chipboard forms, then the acrylic layer (protective film removed), added white seed beads, and then adhered the top chipboard form which I colored with an alcohol marker.

I adhered a narrow strip of brown cardstock around the outside edge of the shaker to conceal the chipboard layers prior to adhering it to the card base. I adhered two die cut cats in front of the window, a vertical computer-generated sentiment down the left side and a very thin white cardstock strip down the right side to complete the card front.

I cut the inside panel from white cardstock and embellished it with the patterned paper used on the front as well as a narrow strip of brown cardstock. Since this is a note card, I left the panel blank leaving plenty of room for a handwritten note, and layered it on brown cardstock.

And one more look… really loving how this shaker note card turned out! This was a fun little scene to create!

Hi everybody! We’re Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in to share another sample I created for the Prickley Pear Stamps new release. This card features the most adorable Spinach and Ramona from the new Frog Pals stamp set with the coordinating Frog die set. I had a little scene-building fun standing Ramona and Spinach in front of a little pond in the background, holding hands, complete with butterflies, a cloud and the sun. Oh so super cute!

I cut a mini slimline landscape top-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock and CutCardStock Basis Medium Blue cardstock. I stamped the cattails and greenery from the Frog Pals stamp set to start the background scene, then added a hand-drawn pond, the cloud and the sun. I stamped Ramona and Spinach (from the same stamp set) on a scrap piece of CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock, and colored everything with alcohol markers. I stamped the sentiment and butterflies (also from the same stamp set), adhered the panel to the medium blue cardstock panel and then to the card base.

I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock, stamped the sentiment and a waterlily in black ink, and layered the panel on CutCardStock Basis Medium Blue cardstock.

And one more look… such an adorable stamp set with fun images and sentiments! Love how this card turned out!

Hi y’all! Happy Hump Day! I hope you’re having a wonderful week! It’s been snowing here for a couple days and it’s just beautiful! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve stopped in this morning to share a sample I created for the Prickley Pear Stamps new release using the new Easter Cross stamp set which compliments the Cross die set that was already in the store. Wow, the possibilities!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock, adhered a strip of yellow patterned paper down the left side, and stamped a vertical sentiment. Using the coordinating Cross die set, I cut an aperture in the front flap and embellished the aperture with stamped lilies colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. I adhered three gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Amber Glow Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick Up Stick to complete the card front.

I stamped the cross in Catherine Pooler Midnight ink and sentiment in Catherine Pooler Shea Butter ink on a white cardstock scrap, die cut it with the coordinating die, and adhered it to the inside of the card so it’s visible through the die cut aperture.

And one more look… I really love how this turned out! Such pretty images used to create a clean and simple card!

Scrappy hugs,

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday – here’s to a wonderful week! I’m stoked to be back on the CutCardStock blog today with an awesome DT inspiration project featuring the amazing Classic Crest cardstock which is on sale this month. I love it and it’s a staple in my studio! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! Most of my card bases are created from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock – there is no better cardstock for a card base! This birthday card is clean and simple, and has a dimensional paper pieced die cut rose with a little pink and green tone on tone going on!

NOTE: The supply chain issues with the Classic Crest and Linen cardstock that I mentioned a couple weeks ago are still ongoing so I wanted to remind everyone. Some other really good options that I can personally vouch for, which I have in my stash also, are 110# Basis White, 80# Basis White, 65# Pop-Tone Sweet Tooth and Royal Sundance 80# Fiber White.

This Papertrey Ink Noted: Scalloped A2 Die Collection is an oldie and one of my favorites, and I thought it would make a really pretty and dainty birthday card in pale pink and pale green which is one of my favorite color combos. And there’s a lot to be said about the pop of black on pastels! I cut the card base from Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock and layered a stitched rectangle cut from Curious Metallic Aloe 111# cardstock with a stitched oval with debossed scallops cut from Curious Metallic Pink Quartz 111# cardstock. The rose (another old die in my stash) is paper pieced using the green and pink cardstock with four layered outlines cut from Curious Metallic Night 111# cardstock for some hefty dimension. I placed the rose in the upper left corner and positioned it where the pink rose was on the pink oval and the green leaves were on the green rectangle for a tone on tone effect. I cut the sentiment twice from the black cardstock and layered one on top of the other for just a little dimension. I finished the front with three small gold rim pink pearls.

I cut/embossed a pink frame with debossed scallops for the inside which I adhered to a white cardstock oval and adhered to a green rectangle. I stamped the sentiment in black ink leaving some room for a signature.

And one more look… really loving how this turned out! Love me some pink and green – and this shimmery cardstock on a Classic Crest card base is THE BEST!

Fall Tag

Hey everybody! Happy Monday to you all – here’s to a FABulous week ahead! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a pretty Fall tag using some amazing STAMPlorations products and some other items from my stash, and of course, all panels and most elements were adhered with Tape Runner. Fall is my favorite season and Christmas is my favorite holiday, so my brain is always geared up for that time of year. And you all know I’m not a seasonal crafter… I’m all over the place and I create whatever pops into my head! ;)

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the hand-rolled elements, and hot glue was used to adhere the paper flowers and bow. I die cut a tag from GKD Tomato Soup cardstock using the STAMPlorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies. I then built up the layers on the tag with Hot Off The Press yellow gingham paper which I tore before adhering, STAMPlorations Newsprint Autumn Ephemera Tiles, STAMPlorations Autumn Cozy Ephemera, a doily, two hand-rolled elements created from CutCardStock Basis Light Brown cardstock, three Wild Orchid Crafts paper flowers, and a bamboo crafting cord bow.

I added Darice gold glitter alpha stickers to spell ‘fall’ along with several Flourish with a Bling antique gold pearls. The final touch was threading Really Reasonable Ribbon autumn ribbon through the hole at the top and securing it with bamboo crafting cord tied in a knot.

And one more peek… I’m so smitten with this tag and LOVE how it turned out! Sometimes layering multiple items can be somewhat daunting, but when you have just the right kind of paper and ephemera along with Tape Runner, there’s nothing to hold you back! ;)

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a great weekend and doing something fun! You know where I like to be, lol! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I have a card to share this morning that I created for Prickley Pear Stamps – and yep, you guessed it… another fun fold! This is a side fold which I really love, and I also really love a pink and green color combo! This card features our Sketched Florals Azalea stamp set along with our Flower Hug For You – Coneflower stamp set that I used for the inside sentiment.

I cut the side fold card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Jellybean Green cardstock and Hot Off The Press Sweet Pea patterned papers which I adhered together and then to the card base. I stamped the image from the Sketched Florals Azalea stamp set in black ink on Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and cut it with the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. I layered the image on green cardstsock and adhered it to the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment in green ink and then added gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Morganite Muse Embellishment Mix and Trinity Stamps Andradite Sparkle Embellishment Mix to complete the front. And I’m so irritated that one of the gemstones shifted and I didn’t notice it until I was perusing photos and no longer had the card in my possession. *sigh* And yes, I know, once you’ve seen it you cannot un-see it! Bahahaha! :P

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of patterned paper and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Jellybean Green cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Hug For You – Coneflower stamp set in green ink and layered the panel on green cardstock.

And one more look… love how this turned out! This stamp set is so gorgeous!

Purse & Cards Set

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a cute little Chandler purse with a set of six notelets featuring our Dark Pink Paper Flowers, Silver Edge Clear Jewel Brads and Pink Enamel Dots. I followed the Bearly Art tutorial HERE but with a couple modifications… I made my clasp slightly different and I attached two handles rather than just one.

I cut the purse base and handles from CutCardStock Amaranth cardstock and adhered patterned paper panels to the front and back. I scored the flap in 1/8″ increments in a section so it would curve appropriately. I adhered a large Dark Pink Paper Flower held together with a Silver Edge Clear Jewel Brad to the flap and affixed a tiny magnet closure. The finishing touch was adding two Pink Enamel Dots to the front just under the straps.

I cut the notelet card bases from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock and embellished the fronts with CutCardStock Amaranth cardstock and patterned paper panels. Using The Project Bin Many More stamp set, I stamped the four images and sentiments on the cardstock panels, duplicating the birthday and thank you to make six cards. I added Pink Enamel Dots to each card front and made little envelopes with my WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

And one more look… super cute project! Love the big paper flower and I’ve always been a fan of the enamel dots! I use them on lots of my Eyelet Outlet inspiration projects!
