You Glow Girl!

Hey y’all, a very happy Saturday to you! Wishing you an awesome weekend! I was looking in my unfiled stamp stash for something and came across four (yes, FOUR!) Art Impressions Matchbook stamp and die sets that I haven’t made yet! Can you believe it?! So, of course, I had to sit down right then and make one! Never mind what I originally was looking for… at that point I couldn’t even remember and I still don’t remember! Bahahaha – does that ever happen to you?! So this one is the Salon Matchbook and I’m not sure who I’ll give it to but that sentiment is a hoot!

I had three coordinating pieces of Chantalia Designs Delicate Flowers digital paper that I printed over a year ago still hanging out on my desk (not sure how they didn’t get lost in our move) so I used two of them. I cut the base and envelope from the plaid using the Matchbook Die Template and the Matchbook Envelope Die along with a tiny piece of the coordinating small floral for the scalloped top.

Using the Art Impressions Salon Matchbook and Wall Accessories stamps, I stamped all of the elements needed for the little scene in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on 80# Solar White cardstock. I colored them with alcohol markers (and a few others) and then put the sheet back into the mini MISTI and stamped again in Versafine Onyx Black ink to get good crisp lines. I cut them with the coordinating Salon Matchbook and Wall Accessories Dies and assembled it. These are SO stinkin’ fun!

Here are a few additional shots from different angles. Love, love, love how this turned out! Stay tuned for three more from this Art Impressions line coming your way – I won’t spoil the surprise by telling you what the themes are… you’ll just have to be surprised!

Hey everybody, happy Friday! Can you believe it’s the first Friday of the last month of the year?! Just like the last several, this year has flown by! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Creative Creases and I’m delighted to share my DT inspiration project for Challenge #110. This is my last post as a Creative Creases designer and I sure have enjoyed myself this year! I love the Match Book line over at Art Impressions and have quite a few of them. Believe it or not, I still have a few in my stash that I haven’t made AND there are some fairly new ones on the Ai website that I haven’t added to my stash yet. I’m such a sucker for gnomes and really had fun with this one!

Using the Art Impressions Match Book Template dies, I cut the base from Waffle Flower Gingham paper. I stamped all the components in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock using the Art Impressions Gnome Home Match Book stamps. I colored them with Copic Ciao alcohol markers and cut them with the included dies.

As I always say, the assembly is the most fun and it was very rewarding seeing this adorable little scene come together! Here are some angled shots along with one showing the teeny tiny envelope (cut with the Art Impressions Match Book Envelope dies).

‘You’re Awesome!’ Matchbook

Hey everybody! Can you believe we’re into the middle of January already?! Dang, where is the time going?! You know how much I love the Art Impressions Matchbook line, and I’ve been playing with the Office Matchbook stamps and dies and created this adorable little scene to enter in the Art Impressions current Clean Slate: #366 – Anything Goes challenge! I’m so excited to be sharing another one of these amazing little masterpieces!

Using the Art Impressions Matchbook Template die, I cut the base from a Polly’s Paper Studio double-sided paper. I’ve created quite a few Matchbooks and I’ve used Polly’s Paper Studios papers for all but one. I don’t know why, but I always reach for her papers for the bases. I stamped all the elements in the Art Impressions Office Matchbook stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and cut them with the coordinating Art Impressions Office Matchbook dies. I colored them with alcohol markers and then assembled the Matchbook. So stinkin’ cute!

Here are several more angled shots and one with the teeny tiny envelope. ;)

Oh Holy Night Matchbook

Hey everybody! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Christmas is just around the corner! Have you started on your Christmas cards and projects yet?! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project for MLCCB #53 – Anything Christmas Goes! I’ve been playing with Matchbooks again – you know those tiny little Art Impressions works of art that I can’t seem to get enough of?! This Nativity Matchbook set is super adorable and I so love how this project turned out!

Using the Art Impressions Matchbook Template dies, I cut the base from P13 Always and Forever double-sided paper. It had butterflies on the reverse side of the woodgrain print which I didn’t want to show, so I adhered panels of woodgrain on the reverse side as well. I stamped the images in the Art Impressions Nativity Matchbook stamp set on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Art Impressions Nativity Matchbook die set. The fun part of these is always the assembly! ;) Finally, I cut the teeny envelope from a gray-brown paper in the Urban Style Design Pad using the Art Impressions Matchbook Envelopes Dies.

Here are a few more angled shots. I really, really love this Art Impressions Matchbook line!

‘Hairy Scary’ Matchbook

Hey everybody! I’m back with another fun post today and I hope you aren’t getting sick of me yet, lol! I just HAD to post this Hairy Scary Matchbook that I created with the Art Impressions Halloween Matchbook stamps and dies! The Give Us A Fright Challenge #362 over at Art Impressions started yesterday and I’m all in! I love nothing more than an Ai Matchbook and it doesn’t matter to me what the occasion is!

For some reason I always reach for Polly’s Paper Studio double-sided papers to cut the Matchbook template from. I then stamped all the Halloween elements on CutCardStock Basis White cardstock and colored them with alcohol markers. The fun part of these Matchbooks is always the assembly! I LOVE watching them come to life!

Here are a few more angled shots and one with the teeny tiny envelope! So stinkin’ cute, I can’t stand it!

Hi friends! Happy Friday to everyone – I hope you’re having a great week! I received an email a while back from the lovely Debbie, owner of the Creative Creases blog, asking if I’d like to guest design in 2023. Of course I couldn’t say no, so here I am with a fun GD inspiration project for Creative Creases Challenge #57! You know how much I love the Art Impressions Matchbooks, so I have the Coffee Shop to share with you today! I used the Coffee Shop stamps and dies along with the Matchbook Template Die and Matchbook Envelope Dies, and it turned out so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!

I cut the base from Polly’s Paper Studio patterned paper using the Matchbook Template Die. I stamped all the elements from the Coffee Stop stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Coffee Shop dies.

I always enjoy the assembly the most. Here’s a shot of the Matchbook with the tiny envelope. I used the Matchbook Envelope Dies and the back side of the striped paper for the envelope.

And here are some angled shots. Love, love, love!

5/7/23 Art Impressions Fan Feature!

Hey everybody! A very Happy Saturday to you all! I hope you have something fun planned this weekend! I’m stoked to share that I’m once again guest designing for the lovely Rachelle over at Scrapping4fun Challenges! One of my projects scored a Shout Out Creation honor a few weeks back, so here I am with a GD project for Challenge #222 – Ladies/Girls + Add Layers! I’m so in love with the Art Impressions Matchbook line (and several other Ai lines to be truthful!) and really enjoyed creating this sewing-themed Matchbook! It fits the theme perfectly!

Using the Art Impressions Matchbook Template Die, I cut the base from a double-sided piece of patterned paper from Polly’s Paper Studio. I stamped all the layers from the Art Impressions Sewing Room Stamps on CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating dies.

Then came the fun of assembling this adorable little Matchbook. Next I created the tiny little envelope using the Art Impressions Matchbook Envelope Dies and another double-sided patterned paper from Polly’s Paper Studio. ;)

Here are a couple more angled shots. So stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!

I created this adorable Matchbook for Challenge #248 – Spring! I’m addicted to these little things and have acquired quite a few now, so I just need to find the time to make them! ;)

I cut the base from a wood plank paper in the P13 Always and Forever 6×8 designer paper pack, the awning and window frames from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Hot Fudge cardstock, and the rest of the elements from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock which I colored with alcohol markers. Then the fun began… I LOVE assembling these!

Here are some angled shots.

And one more peek with the teeny tiny envelope… another adorable Matchbook completed! I have quite a few more planned, so stay tuned! I think I’m an addict, lol!

‘Season The Day’ matchbook

Hi friends! I’ve popped in this morning to share another matchbook I created – this one is a kitchen scene and is earmarked for my daughter who loves to cook! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I mentioned a while back when I was sharing the other little matchbooks I was making that I had bought four of the Art Impressions matchbook die sets and I’m finally getting around to sharing the fourth one. I’m entering this one in The Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge and have chosen the ‘Anything Goes’ theme. These are so stinkin’ fun, I can’t stand it! There are two more that I need to get to add to my collection, so stay tuned!

I used double-sided patterned paper from Polly’s Paper Studio for the matchbook base. I stamped all the kitchen elements on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating dies. I just love all the detail on the kitchen elements! Bonnie Krebs does an amazing job designing these!

Here are shots going around the outside and a shot of the itty bitty envelope.
