It’s a BOY!

Hi everyone! I’ve popped in this morning with a clean and simple baby boy card I created to mirror one I posted last week HERE. I said in my post last week that I saw another card like that one in my future – only in a different color with different shoes, so here we are! And believe it or not, this one is not a design team project… I actually set aside some crafty time for myself! ;)

2020_0412001

I used a white card base this time and added a white sentiment strip across the bottom for a tone-on-tone look. I stamped the sentiment from Paper Pretties in blue ink. For the shoes, I cut three of each, DTP-inked them in the blue ink, and layered them together for some dimension. I used a white paint pen to add tiny little dots. I turned the shoes in a different orientation this time, with the toes pointing toward the bottom of the card.

2020_0412002

Once again I kept the inside super simple with just a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set, stamped in the same blue ink. :)

2020_0412003

And one more peek… this one is just as cute as the last and I’m loving how it turned out!

It’s a GIRL!

Hello, my crafty friends! Hope you’re having a great day! This month’s Anything Goes with Dies Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers and I’m thrilled to share my DT inspiration project with you today!

I created a super CAS baby girl card to add to my stash. One can never have too many baby cards, lol! ;)

2019_1021005a

When I created this card, I was in the mood for clean and simple. Using an ivory card base, I added an ivory sentiment strip across the bottom for a tone-on-tone look. I stamped the sentiment from Paper Pretties in pink ink.

2019_1021006a

And how about these little shoes?! Aren’t they just too stinkin’ cute?! I cut three of each, colored them all pink with an R3 Studio 71 alcohol marker, and layered them together for some dimension. Using the same marker, I colored two small white flat-back pearls to match.

2019_1021007a

I kept the inside super simple with just a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set, stamped in the same pink ink. :)

2019_1021008a

And one more peek… I absolutely love how this turned out and it couldn’t have been any simpler! I see another one of these in my near future, only in blue and with slightly different shoes!

Santa Claus is coming to town

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a fantastic week! Today is my post day on the Simply Crafty SVGs Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you. I created the most adorable Santa box set using the Simply Crafty SVGs Santa Stacking Box Set cut file. O.M.G. Is he not the cutest guy ever?!

2019_09030011a

The top box is Santa’s top half and his hat comes off to reveal the box. ;)

2019_09030012a

The bottom box is Santa’s bottom half, and that lid comes off to reveal the box. I haven’t decided whether or not I’m going to put anything in these boxes – I’m thinking I may turn the set into a piece of Christmas decor! What would you do?!

Wishing You the Very Best

4/10/20 Winner at Di’s Digi Challenge!
4/13/20 Top 4 at Make My Monday Challenge Blog!
5/1/20 Winner at Paperbabe Stamps!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I’m super stoked to be back on the CutCardStock blog today with an awesome DT inspiration project featuring glitter cardstock that was included in our Designer’s Pack! First order of business is to let you know that this post contains affiliate links. I created a glitzy gold-infused birthday card – and I’m in love with the effect it has on these gorgeous colors!

2020_0312005

I created a standard A2 size top fold card base from Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and rounded the bottom right corner. I have to tell you that this is some of the best cardstock on the market to make card bases from. I cut a background layer from Pop-Tone Wild Cherry cardstock and adhered diagonal strips cut from CCS Gold Glitter cardstock alternating with slightly wider strips cut from Pop-Tone Orange Fizz cardstock, Pop-Tone Razzleberry cardstock and the Wild Cherry cardstock. I added more narrow glitter strips diagonally across each of the colored strips. I hadn’t originally planned to do this, but so glad the idea crossed my mind because I love the effect! For the sentiment piece, I die cut a double-stitched oval from the Wild Cherry cardstock which I layered on another oval die cut from the Classic Crest. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed it in gold.

2020_0312006

I embellished the inside with strips of the colored and glitter cardstock used on the front, and stamped the sentiment in red ink.

2020_0312007

And here’s one more look… so totally smitten with how this turned out!

Artist Trading Coins

Hi friends! I hope you all are well and staying safe. I’m delighted to be back on the blog over at The Project Bin and have popped in to share a few more ATCs. I’m an admitted ATC addict and I’m steadily adding to my collection! I love playing with The Project Bin stamps, and used round stamps from Born Yesterday, Haunt It and Summer Fun stamp sets. I added a little clear star shimmer to each.

The birthday sentiment is from the Born Yesterday stamp set, stamped in rosy pink ink.

2020_0330007

The witchy sentiment is from the Haunt It stamp set, stamped in orange ink.

2020_0330009

The vitamin sea sentiment is from the Summer Fun stamp set, stamped in aqua ink.

2020_0330008

One more peek at the set… loving how these turned out! I belong to a couple ATC trading groups but I’m finding more and more that I don’t want to part with any of them, lol!

4/19/20 Top 3 at International Art & Soul!

Hello, crafty peeps! Happy Hump Day – have you any April Fools Day jokes planned?! I’m delighted to be back on the blog today over at The Project Bin with a pretty thank you card! I dug into my stash and pulled out the Just Sayin’ stamp set to create this gingham and wood card. Super simple design! ;)

2020_0330002

I layered the gingham and wood paper panel on charcoal brown cardstock, separating the two patterns with a thin strip of the charcoal brown cardstock. I stamped the sentiment directly on the paper in brown ink and finished the design with five small green gemstones on the cardstock strip.

2020_0330003

I embellished the inside panel with leftover gingham paper and brown cardstock used on the front, then layered it on the brown cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink.

2020_0330004

One more look… totally loving this clean design! And green and brown really do look great together!

Happy Easter!

Hello, friends! Hope you’re having a good week! Our new challenge is live over at Paper Funday Challenges and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! Our challenges are always Anything Goes with an optional twist each month, and our twist this month is Easter. Our sponsor is Hetty Clare and I used the adorable Flower Girl digi stamp from my stash to create a pretty Easter card.

2020_0116005a

I dipped into my new favorite paper pad and grabbed two coordinating patterned papers to use along with the two colors of cardstock. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, cut it with a stitched oval die and added a tiny white flat-back pearl to the center of each flower. The sentiment is computer-generated.

2020_0116006a

I embellished the inside panel with leftover paper and cardstock used on the front. The inside sentiment is computer-generated also.

This month’s challenge is live over at Love To Scrap Challenge Blog and I’m thrilled to share my DT inspiration project for LTSCB #132 – For The Girls! The first set was created with Ephemoire Rose Garden Boxed Card Set. I printed the box and the 3×3 note cards on white cardstock, and the envelopes on 32# copy paper. I made an embellishment for the front of each, using a stamp, a couple punches and a flat-back pearl.

2019_1130008a

The second set was created with Ephemoire Distressed Pansy Boxed Card Set. Like the first set, I printed the box and the 3×3 note cards on white cardstock, and the envelopes on 32# copy paper. I made an embellishment for the front of each of these also, in the same fashion, using a stamp, a couple punches and a gemstone.

Two-Pocket Purse

Hello, my crafty friends! Happy Hump Day – hope you’re having a great week so far! A new challenge is live over at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project for MLCCB #21 – April Anything Christmas Goes! You know how I love fun folds, and several months back I found a new one to try in a Splitcoast Stampers newsletter HERE. What a fun idea!

2019_1130001a

I chose plain ivory for the purse base, red and green cardstock for the flap and ornament embellishment, and traditional red and green double-sided Christmas papers for the inside pockets. The closure is a velcro circle and the handle is ivory diamond satin ribbon.

I tucked a card with a traditional Christmas sentiment into the pocket on the front side.

The card in the pocket on the back side has a place for a signature. This is so stinkin’ cute, and the sky is the limit with regard to colors, papers and occasions for gifting this little purse! You could also tuck in a gift card or cash! ;)

I’d love to enter this little purse into the following challenges:
A Bit More Time To Craft: #113 – Anything Goes
A Bit More Time To Craft Extra: April Anything Goes
A Perfect Time To Craft Open Challenge: #4-2020 – Anything Goes

Stamps: Stampin’ Up Tin of Tags stamp set
Ink: Stampin’ Up Cherry Cobbler ink
Dies/Punches: Spellbinders Labels Seventeen die set, Spellbinders Mix-n-Match Ornaments die set

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little purse and will link up a Christmas project with us this month! Remember, it’s never too early to get started on your Christmas cards and projects – it’ll be here before you know it! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you again soon! ;)
