Away in a Manger

Hi everyone, happy Hump Day! I hope you’re having a great first week of November! I’m up on the CutCardStock blog today with a tutorial for making a sweet nativity envelope box card using lots of cardstock from the store, which I’ll list below. I used the Cyndy G SVG Nativity Envelope Box Card SVG cut file along with one patterned paper and two sentiment die cuts from the Keep It Simple O Holy Night collection. In the grand scheme of things, I really haven’t made very many Christmas cards this year (which is very unusual for me) so I better get on it! ;)

I won’t go into a huge amount of detail here, so be sure to see my tutorial on the CutCardStock blog if you’d like to know more. I cut all the pieces from Basis Navy 12×12, Red Pepper 12×12, Rubber Ducky Yellow, Sandcastle, Pop Tone Jellybean Green, Lessebo Hunter Green, Lessebo Coffee Bean, Vanilla Bean Brown, and Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock. Cyndy’s SVG files are always pretty straightforward and the assembly of the base and inserts was very simple. I added a sentiment die cut from the Keep It Simple O Holy Night collection.

I added one more sentiment to the back panel, which completed this card.
