Merry Christmas Cardinals

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! You all know that I create Christmas crafts all year long, and this pretty card features our Cardinal Brads, Cardinal Profile Brads, Female Cardinal Brads and Clear Jewel Bling Strips. I absolutely love cardinals and thoroughly enjoyed creating this card with my Scan N Cut. Many people believe that a loved one is watching over us if a cardinal appears, and that’s what I always think of when I see one! ;)

I cut the card base from American Crafts White cardstock, and the remaining pieces from CutCardStock Basis Gray, Basis Red, Dolphin, and Curious Metallic White Silver cardstock. I added a Cardinal Brad, a Cardinal Profile Brad and a Female Cardinal Brad to the birch trees, and then added a Clear Jewel Bling Strip down each side for a little festive bling.

Here’s another angled shot.

And one more look… folded flat for mailing! This card is amazing and the three kinds of cardinal brads I used are some of my favorites in the Eyelet Outlet store!

Purse & Cards Set

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a cute little Chandler purse with a set of six notelets featuring our Dark Pink Paper Flowers, Silver Edge Clear Jewel Brads and Pink Enamel Dots. I followed the Bearly Art tutorial HERE but with a couple modifications… I made my clasp slightly different and I attached two handles rather than just one.

I cut the purse base and handles from CutCardStock Amaranth cardstock and adhered patterned paper panels to the front and back. I scored the flap in 1/8″ increments in a section so it would curve appropriately. I adhered a large Dark Pink Paper Flower held together with a Silver Edge Clear Jewel Brad to the flap and affixed a tiny magnet closure. The finishing touch was adding two Pink Enamel Dots to the front just under the straps.

I cut the notelet card bases from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock and embellished the fronts with CutCardStock Amaranth cardstock and patterned paper panels. Using The Project Bin Many More stamp set, I stamped the four images and sentiments on the cardstock panels, duplicating the birthday and thank you to make six cards. I added Pink Enamel Dots to each card front and made little envelopes with my WRMK Envelope Punch Board.

And one more look… super cute project! Love the big paper flower and I’ve always been a fan of the enamel dots! I use them on lots of my Eyelet Outlet inspiration projects!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I have one more Valentine to share before the day of love arrives! This block card features our Valentine Washi Tape which I used on the background of all four blocks, and White Pearl Bling Strip that I used to embellish the heart. Another fun and easy card created with my Scan N Cut!

I cut the card base, layering panel, and blocks and layers from CutCardStock Basis Red, Basis Gray, Amaranth, Pop-Tone Cotton Candy, Pop-Tone Razzleberry cardstock, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White and Neenah Classic Linen Solar White cardstock. I covered the Crest Solar White blocks with four different patterns from the Valentine Washi Tape, and added the layers. I assembled the card and added White Pearl Bling Strip around the edge of the heart.

I cut the inside panels from CutCardStock Basis Gray and Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock along with a panel cut from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White which I embellished with more of the Valentine washi tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts Year Round Messages stamp set in Catherine Pooler Be Mine ink.

And one more look… such a fun Valentine! The assortment of 8 rolls of Valentine washi tape is amazing and made awesome backgrounds on these little blocks! AND it’s on sale!

3/3/22 Winner at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a groovy love card for Valentine’s Day that really reveals the hippie in me! I created this super fun card with my Scan N Cut and it features our White Daisy Brads, Color Daisy Brads and Pink Enamel Hearts. I dry embossed each letter with a different embossing folder which adds such fun texture!

I cut all the pieces from CutCardStock Amaranth, Basis Magenta, Basis Green, and Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock, and Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock. The fun part is always the assembly, and I added a White Daisy Brad and several Color Daisy Brads to the letters, and a Pink Enamel Heart to the layered heart in the center of the large flower. I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Year Round Messages stamp set in Catherine Pooler Pucker Up ink, trimmed it, and adhered it to the bottom right.

I cut the inside panels from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Amaranth cardstock, and rounded the corners. I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle N Sprinkle Disco Fever stamp set in the Catherine Pooler Pucker Up ink, and added a die cut heart from my embellishment bowl that was left over from another project.

And one more look… love, love, love how this turned out! FLOWER POWER! Such a fun Valentine!

Scrappy hugs,

Congratulations Coin Purse GC Holder

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! It’s almost the end of January and this month has flown by! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I’ve been having so much with my Scan N Cut and created this graduation coin purse gift card holder which features a Light Pink Paper Flower, Clear Jewel Bling Strips and a Silver Edge Clear Jewel Brad. I’ve had this cut file in my arsenal for many years and have made quite a few of these. This one is a little different in that I added pockets to the inside – one holds a little graduation card and the other pocket will hold a gift card.

I cut the base from a dotted ink-resist paper and inked it with Ranger spun sugar distress ink and then with Catherine Pooler It’s A Girl ink to darken it up just a bit. I cut the coin purse frames with clasps from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock and adhered them to the base. I adhered a Light Pink Paper Flower with a Silver Edge Clear Jewel Brad to the center front, and then added Clear Jewel Bling Strip around the front edge of the coin purse frame. I stamped a sentiment from the Trinity Stamps A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything stamp set in pink ink, trimmed it and adhered it beneath the flower.

I cut the inside pockets from a plaid patterned paper and punched half-circles in the tops before adhering them. I created a card to slip into one of the pockets cut from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock and Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. I rounded the corners, stamped a sentiment in pink inks using the Hero Arts Year Round Messages stamp set and Trinity Stamps A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything stamp set, and adhered the panels together. The white card at the bottom of the photo on the right represents a gift card. This is such a fun project and the coin purse can be made for literally any occasion in any color scheme!

2/3/22 Top 3 at Penny’s Paper-Crafting Challenge Blog!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a 4th of July card featuring our Flag & Hat Brads and Patriotic Enamel Stars! You know me and fun folds… I ran across my own zig-zag template while I was looking through my tutorial files for something else, and decided it would be perfect for this card! I went one step further on this one and die cut two round apertures to see the fireworks through, which I thought was a fun touch!

I cut the card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock, two narrow embellishing strips from CutCardStock Basis Blue cardstock, and layering panels from assorted coordinated patriotic papers. Using a Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers die, I die cut circular apertures into the first and second sections. I stamped the fireworks on one of the negative space circular die cuts and adhered it to the third section to be seen through the apertures. I stamped the main sentiment in red ink on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock, cut it with a Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers die and adhered it along the top of the first section.

I used our blue and white Patriotic Enamel Stars to embellish all three inside sections. I affixed a hat from our Flag & Hat Brads to the second section adjacent to another stamped sentiment.

I cut the back panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a scrap from one of the patterned papers used on the front along with a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in red ink, added a flag from our Flag & Hat Brads and some Patriotic Enamel Stars, and layered the panel on the blue cardstock.

And one more look… so smitten with this design! I totally love the enamel stars used with the hat and flag brads!

Scrappy hugs,

I Love Fall

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! Mini slimlines (in 3-1/2″ x 6″ size that are legal to mail) are my new favorite kind of card to make these days, and I created a gorgeous Fall card featuring our Pumpkin Brads, Leaf Brads and Orange Pearl Bling! I got some new double-sided patterned paper packs that I’ve been itching to use! Plus, if you know me very well, then you know that I typically don’t stick to seasonal crafting… I’m all over the place and create whatever pops into my head! It’s Winter, so what’s wrong with a Fall card, I ask?! ;)

I cut a side-folding mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock and Stamp Anniething Autumn Life 6×6 double-sided papers. I used a corner punch on the two layering panels and adhered them together. I cut wide embellishing strips from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock, layered them together and adhered them horizontally across the front of the card, and adhered the panel to the card front. Using the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, I die cut an element for the front on which I stamped the sentiment from The Project Bin New Leaf stamp set in brown ink, added Pumpkin Brads and Leaf Brads, and adhered it to the card front. To finish it off, I added some Orange Pearl Bling.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and punched the corners with the corner punch. I stamped the sentiment (from the same TPB stamp set) in brown and orange inks, and layered it on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock.

And one more look… these pumpkin and leaf brads sure do make a gorgeous Fall card and are some of my favorites in the store!

Scrappy hugs,

I turtley adore you

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super sweet CAS-ish card featuring our Turtle Brads and Pearl Bling Multi Size Green! There’s something about a tag on the front of card… and especially a tag with a super cute turtle and a pun-y sentiment! This is so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! And sometimes less is definitely more!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis White 110# cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Gumdrop Green cardstock and a green dotted pattern from the Stamp Anniething Summer Tropics 6×6 double-sided papers. I die cut a tag from CutCardStock Basis White 80# cardstock using the CUTplorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies and stamped the sentiment in green ink. I added a couple strips cut from the green cardstock to the bottom of the tag, added the Turtle Brad and a tiny heart punched from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock. I added some green crafting cord to the tag before adhering it to the card front, and then added some Green Pearl Bling to finish it off.

I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Basis White 80# cardstock and embellished it with a wide strip of the green dotted patterned paper used on the front. I stamped the sentiment in green ink and layered the panel on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Gumdrop Green cardstock cardstock.

And one more look… so very happy with how this turned out! These turtle brads are super adorable and this little guy paired perfectly with the stamp set!

Three Favorite Valentine/Love Projects for Eyelet Outlet

Hey everybody! A very Happy Saturday and Merry Christmas to you! This year sure has flown by! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today sharing my three favorite Valentine/Love projects created with our amazing products! This is another one of those different kind of posts where all three of these projects have already been showcased on my blog – and very similar to my post in late November when I shared my three favorite Holiday projects. Looks like this will be a fun tradition!

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that Ed and I are Crazy Cat People and we rescue kittens and cats (current count is 18 – we have 11 inside and 7 more ferals/semi-ferals outside). That said, two of my three favorite cards in this post are cat-themed! The third is dog-themed, lol – we truthfully love all kinds of animals – and I really couldn’t list these three in any kind of ‘favorite’ order! My first fav is this awesome kitty card which I created in one of my favorite color combos of black and white with a pop of red. I paired our Cat Brads with our Glitter Black Washi Tape to create this purrfect Valentine or anniversary card!

My second fav is this adorable card featuring our Dog Brads and Kennel Mix Brads which I paired with our Grass Washi TapeSummer Tree Brads and Sun/Cloud Brads to create a fun scene. I also used a Paw Brad on the inside.

And my third fav is this super cute ‘feline good’ card which I created in a rose and burgundy color combo and features our Fox & Flowers Wide Washi Tape on the background. I also used our Feline Brads which I paired with a Pink Enamel Heart and White Pearl Bling. As you can tell, this inside sentiment is one of my favorites and gets used a lot! ;)

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post, even though it’s a little bit different from my normal posts! Hey peeps! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! They seem to be flying by at a wicked fast rate of speed! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created the cutest-ever fairy house 3-D project featuring our Fairy Brads and clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling Strips! I actually made two of these fairy houses with very subtle differences between the two – one had pink flowers and two fairies (which I sent to my granddaughter) and this one has purple flowers and and three fairies.

I sure do enjoy my Scan N Cut, and whenever I get it out for a crafty spin, I cut multiple projects to work on between design team projects that keep me busy for the weeks to come. There’s nothing more fun than watching a 3-D project come to life! Going back 12 years, I’ve owned a personal size Cricut, a Cricut Expression and a Silhouette Cameo prior to buying my first Scan N Cut six years ago.

I upgraded to an SDX125 a little while back and I’m in love. It came with three extra design collections when I bought it (plus it already has 600+ built-in designs) and the cutting blade has an auto-sensor that tells the machine how thick the paper, cardstock, leather, foam, acetate, fabric, etc. is that you’re cutting, so no more adjusting the cutting blade depth. If you’re in the market for a die cutting machine (or an upgrade), the SDX125 is the way to go! ;)

I cut all the pieces from CutCardStock Basis Brown, Basis Light Brown, Basis Green, Basis Aqua, Basis Teal, Basis Gold, Basis Magenta, Pop-Tone Tangy Orange and Pop-Tone Grape Jelly cardstock. I assembled the fairy house and added three Fairy Brads prior to adding the second base layer of the house for stability. I added several clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling Strips to the soffit for a little sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock in orange ink, cut it with a stitched oval die, and adhered it to the front of the tree stump. Here are a couple angled shots:

And one more look folded flat for mailing! So stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!
