You’re My Snuggle Bunny

Hey everybody! Happy Hump Day – I hope you’re having a fabulous week! I’m playing a little catch-up over the next several days and posting some projects that I shared on social media was but not able to blog because of our internet issues. This adorable Keep It Simple DT inspiration project was created with a variety of items in the new Bunny Season Collection! I can’t get enough – this collection is so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! Everything is coordinated and there are plenty of supplies to make any kind of project you could dream up!

I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a diagonal stripe pattern from the Bunny Season 6×9 Collection Pack. I chose a super cute card and bunny die cut from the Bunny Season Die Cut Pieces for the focal element, backed it on a green solid cardstock from the Bunny Season 6×9 Cardstock Pack, and added the die cut popped up on Darice double-sided foam strips. The finishing touch was adding several pink Bunny Season Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the diagonal pattern and green solid cardstock (from the Bunny Season 6×9 Collection Pack and Cardstock Pack). I stamped a sentiment from the Bunny Season Love Grows Here stamp set in Catherine Pooler Green Grass ink.

Hey everybody! Happy Sunday! It’s almost the middle of February already – time sure is flying by! I’m stoked to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share with you today! I so love the Household Chore Gnomes Collection – these guys are so cool and you know how I love me some gnomes! ;) I created a center step card featuring items from the Die Cut Pieces and Gnome Collection Pack 6×6 Double Sided Cardstock, along with the Back to Basics Royal Collection Pack 6×6 Double-Sided Cardstock and Royal Enamel Dots.

I die cut the easel card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and the layering panels from the Gnome Collection Pack 6×6 Double-Sided Cardstock. I selected a light blue cardstock from the Royal Collection Pack 6×6 Double-Sided Cardstock which I tore to create a puddle of water. Then I added the gnome, cleaning supplies and sentiment from the Die Cut Pieces, and added some Royal Enamel Dots. I tied a blue twine bow on the sentiment which completed the card front.

For the back, I die cut layering panels from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and the Gnome Collection Pack, then fussy cut the sentiment from a card in the Die Cut Pieces. Isn’t that sentiment a hoot?! Love how this turned out!

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday! I’m delighted to share another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you today! You know I love me some fun folds, and I’ve created a twisted gate fold featuring a variety of products from the Scandinavian Christmas collection! I used papers from the 6×9 Cardstock Pack and 6×9 Collection Pack, Gnomes Die Cut Pieces and Gnomes Stamps! You know I love gnomes, too! ;)

I cut the card base from CutCardStock Basis White cardstock and layering panels from papers in the 6×9 Cardstock Pack and 6×9 Collection Pack. I die cut a circle using a Spellbinders Classic Circles die to use as the base for the focal element that I created with die cuts from the Gnomes Die Cut Pieces. I stamped a sentiment from the Gnomes Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Here’s a shot of the card partly opened.

I stamped another sentiment on the inside from the Gnomes Stamps in black ink and added some snowflake die cuts from the Gnomes Die Cut Pieces.

2/3/23 Rising Star at A Place To Start!

Hey everybody! Happy first day of February… already! Can you believe it?! Mom and Dad would have been married 75 years today and I’m sure they are celebrating that Diamond Anniversary in Heaven! I’m delighted to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share! This mini slimline features products from the Household Chore Gnomes collection that was released last September! You know I love me some gnomes and these are some of the cutest ever!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with strips and a layering panel from papers in the Household Chore Gnomes Collection Pack and the Back To Basics Royal Collection Pack. I stamped the gnome, bubbles and soap from the Household Chore Gnomes Work Hard Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Solar White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Household Chore Gnomes Work Hard Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Catherine Poole Suede Shoes ink and added several Back To Basics Royal Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from Solar White cardstock, embellished it with strips of the papers used on the front, and stamped the sentiment in blue ink.

Hey everybody! Happy Thursday – I hope you’re having a fabulous week! We’re on the downslide toward the end of January already! Can you believe it?! I’m thrilled to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share today! This mini slimline birthday card features die cut pieces and sentiment stamps from the Little Cowgirl Birthday collection which I paired with papers and enamel hearts from the Rose collection. The Little Cowgirl Birthday collection was released back in September, and if you haven’t already checked it out, you really oughta! There are SO many absolutely adorable papers, stamps, dies, and die cut elements that are perfect for little girl (or big girl) cards!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and a pink buffalo check layering panel from the Back To Basics Rose Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, and rounded the bottom right corner of each. I added cowgirl and critter die cuts from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Die Cut Pieces and stamped the sentiment from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. The finishing touch was adding a couple small enamel hearts.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar white cardstock and embellished it with a leftover strip of the pink buffalo check used on the front. I stamped the sentiment (also from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set) in Rich Cocoa ink, and layered the panel on another print from the Back To Basics Rose Collection Pack.

Holly Jolly Christmas

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday! I’m back again this morning, this time sharing another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project! This adorable Christmas card features quite a few items from the Scandinavian Christmas collection which I’m totally loving! To create this fun scene, I used paper from the Scandinavian Christmas 6×9 Cardstock Pack, stamps and die cut pieces from Santa & Friends, and die cut pieces and stamps from Gnomes!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding landscape card base from Neenah Classic Crest #110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from papers in the 6×9 Cardstock Pack. I used die cuts from both the Santa & Friends and Gnomes Die Cut Pieces to create the scene, popping some of the presents up on foam dimensionals and using Nuvo Autumn Red and Gloss White Crystal Drops to embellish the tree. I stamped the sentiment from the Santa & Friends Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the papers used on the front, and then stamped the sentiment from the Gnomes Stamps in black ink.

Scrappy hugs,

Merry Christmas

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a fantastic week! I’m stoked to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share today! This adorable disappearing nine patch Christmas card features quite a few items from the Scandinavian Christmas collection! I used the Santa & Friends Stamps and Dies, a variety of patterned papers from both the 6×9 Collection Pack and 6×9 Cardstock Pack, and inside sentiments from the Congratulations Sentiments Stamp Set and Gnome Stamps.

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels cut from papers in the 6×9 Cardstock Pack and 80# Solar white cardstock. I created the disappearing nine patch panel using a variety of patterned papers in the 6×9 Collection Pack. I stamped the reindeer from the Santa & Friends Stamps (in Memento Rich Cocoa ink) on brown paper in the 6×9 Cardstock Pack and cut it with the coordinating Outline Die. I colored his spots and antlers with an alcohol marker and added a dot of Nuvo Autumn Red Crystal Drops on his nose. I die cut three more reindeer shapes and adhered them all together with the brown one on top, ran a brown alcohol marker around the edge of the stack, and added a twine bow around his neck. I stamped a sentiment from the Santa & Friends Stamps in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and added several snowflakes cut from a scrap of patterned paper used in the disappearing nine patch panel.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of two of the papers used on the front and a couple more snowflakes cut from a scrap of patterned paper used in the disappearing nine patch panel. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink using stamps from the Congratulations Sentiments Stamp Set and Gnomes Stamps.

Scrappy hugs,

JOY double gate fold

Hey everybody! A big ol’ Happy Tuesday to you all! I hope your week has started off nicely! I’m stoked to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project created with products from the absolutely amazing Scandinavian Christmas Collection! And you know how I love me some fun folds, so this was definitely a ‘win-win’ kind of project! For this double gate fold, I used a buffalo plaid paper from the 6×9 Cardstock Pack, double-sided paper from the Back to Basics Ruby 12×12 Collection Pack, and an assortment of die cuts from the Die Cut Pieces Alphabits, Santa & Friends and Gnomes. This was definitely a fun one!

I created the card base using the double-sided buffalo plaid paper from the 6×9 Cardstock Pack. To create the front detail on the card base, I cut the top portion of each side of the gate fold off at an angle, flipped the pieces down, exposing the reverse side, and adhered them to the bottom of the gate fold flaps.

I created the JOY focal element by adhering die cuts from the Die Cut Pieces Alphabits, Santa & Friends and Gnomes to a circle die cut from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, and adhered the element to the left side of the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips cut from a red paper in the Back To Basics Ruby 12×12 Collection Pack and a blue paper in the 6×9 Cardstock Pack along with a die cut from the Die Cut Pieces Santa & Friends. I stamped a sentiment from the Santa & Friends stamps in Catherine Pooler Stone Blue ink, and layered the panel on the blue paper.

Scrappy hugs,

I have FALLEN for you

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday! Dang, it seems like it’s been forever since I shared a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project! Over the past few months I’ve had posts for most of my DTs scheduled well in advance while we built and moved into our cabin, and a couple of them lagged behind, and I’m very thankful for the kindness of these DT leaders toward the end while we dealt with delays. But I’m stoked to be back today to share this adorable ‘love you just because’ card featuring products from the new Lumberjack release! I’m totally in love with the papers, ephemera, stamps and dies which I paired with birthday stamps and enamel dots already in the store!

I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and rounded the bottom right corner. I also cut layering panels from two coordinating patterns in the Lumberjack Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, adhered them together, and added a strip of Eyelet Outlet Gold Script Washi Tape. I added two wreath elements from the Ephemera Die Cut Pieces (smaller one popped up on mini dimensionals) and added several Jade Enamel Dots for a little interest. I stamped a sentiment from the Lumberjack Stamps in Memento Rich Cocoa ink which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with buffalo plaid print from the Lumberjack Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock used on the front. I stamped the wood heart from the Lumberjack Stamps on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and cut it with the coordinating Lumberjack Outline Die. The final step was stamping the ‘xo’ sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink, adhering the element to the panel and then adhering the panel to another print in the Lumberjack Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock.

I’m excited to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project created with products in the new Lumberjack release! I love fun folds and create them quite regularly. ;) This one is a front flap thank you card created with the Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock and Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, Lumberjack Stamps and Lumberjack Outline Dies, and Camping Stamps and Camping Outline Dies. I also used the Thank You Sentiments Stamp Set from my stash along with the Back To Basics Jade Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock and Jade Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock which are already in the store.
