Hi friends – I hope you’re having a happy Thursday and you have something fun planned for the weekend! I have a super cute Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share today that makes me happy! I totally love lady bugs and this slider pop-up card (inspiration from Connie Stewart’s blog HERE) features papers and die cut pieces from our Bugs collection. Despite it’s complex look, it really is an easy card to make and is a great fun fold to show off images and papers. This is an absolutely adorable collection!
I cut the card base from CutCardStock Lessebo Pitch Black cardstock along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the Bugs 12×12 Collection Pack and a sentiment panel from Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock. I did use a Stampin’ Up oval punch to punch a ‘thumb notch’ in the sleeve (the element that allows the card to slide) along with a Stampin’ Up 1″ circle punch to place beneath the shamrock as the stopper. I grabbed the Bugs Die Cut Pieces and used several images and sentiments to embellish the card. The finishing touch was adding some Back To Basics Mango Enamel Hearts.
Here is a side view so you can see the construction, and it folds flat for mailing! So stinkin’ fun… I love it!
