Wedding Congrats Triple Cube

7/20/23 Top 3 at Penny’s Paper-Crafting Challenge Blog!

Hey everybody! I hope all my American friends had a nice long July 4th weekend! I’ve popped in this morning to share another inspiration project for Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT! The triple cube has become one of my favorite fun folds to create, and this one in black and kraft with a pop of gold just knocks my socks off! Love how it turned out!

I cut the card base from CutCardStock Basis Black cardstock along with squares from CutCardStock Bright Gold Foil and Canvas Corp Black & Kraft Paper Collection. I cut the sentiment panel and back layering panels from CutCardStock Brown Bag Kraft paper. I stamped the front sentiment from the Stampin’ Up For The New Two stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I stamped the back sentiment from the Prickley Pear Stamps Scalloped Oval 4-Floral stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I’ve also included a shot of the card folded flat for mailing. This is definitely a fun one!

Scrappy hugs,

Get Well

Hi friends! I hope your week has started off nicely, and if you’re in the States, you’re enjoying some beautiful 4th of July weather! I’m still plugging away sharing my Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration projects! This pretty get well mini slimline features an inked and embossed background along with a floral element using some of the Sizzix Colorize Bloom Thinlits which I created in various tones of orange.

I cut my go-to mini slimline size of 3-1/2″ x 6″ card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from 80# Solar White and CutCardStock Pop Tone Orange Fizz cardstock using the Waffle Flowers Mini Slimline Layers dies. I stamped the background on the Solar White layer using the Hero Arts Diamond Background stamp in Versamark, and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and my Milwaukee Heat Tool. I laid some Ranger dried marigold distress ink down on my craft mat, spritzed it with water in my Ranger distress sprayer and pounced the embossed panel into it, creating a nice layer of color.

I created the floral element using CutCardStock Pop Tone Orange Fizz, Basis Orange, Stardream Metallic Flame, Basis Dark Orange, Kale Green, Pop Tone Gumdrop Green and Pop Tone Jellybean Green cardstock and the Sizzix Colorize Bloom Thinlits. I added a sentiment from the Keep It Simple Get Well sentiments stamp set, stamped in Catherine Pooler Orange Peel ink, which I fussy cut. The finishing touch was adding several Eyelet Outlet orange pearls.

I die cut the inside panels from 80# Solar White and CutCardStock Pop Tone Orange Fizz cardstock using the same Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers dies. I embellished the white panel with leftover strips of the inked and embossed background on the front and Orange Fizz cardstock, and stamped a sentiment from the same Keep It Simple Get Well sentiments stamp set in Catherine Pooler Orange Peel ink.

Scrappy hugs,

She leaves a little sparkle

Hey everybody! Happy Monday! Wishing you all a great week ahead! I’m back this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project! This adorable little ballerina is on a pretty iridescent sparkle embossed background and an action wobble! She’s so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop Tone Razzleberry cardstock and 80# Solar White cardstock. Using the Hero Arts Painted Diamonds background stamp, Versamark and Judi-Kins Iridescent Sparkle Embossing Powder, I embossed the 80# Solar White panel. I ink blended some Ranger spun sugar distress ink to the center of the embossed panel and a tiny bit of Ranger pumice stone distress ink just beneath it for the shadow.

I stamped the sentiment and image from the InkyStamper Ballerina stamp set on Solar White and colored the image with alcohol markers. I cut her with the coordinating InkyStamper Ballerina die set and affixed her to the card front on a Hampton Art Mini Action Wobble, then adhered the sentiment.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with leftover strips of the embossed background and Pop Tone Razzleberry cardstock used on the front. I stamped a sentiment from the Prickley Pear Stamps Brighter Days Ahead stamp set in black ink.

Scrappy hugs,

It’s Your Birthday!

Howdy peeps! I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project. This pretty birthday card features PinkFresh Studio Hibiscus stamps, stencils and die in a bold orange and purple color combo which I love! And I absolutely love PinkFresh Studio products so this was definitely a win-win! I’m dedicating this card virtually to my friend, Debbie, since her birthday is coming up and I didn’t get a card in the mail! Happy birthday, Debbie!

I started off by stamping the floral images on Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink using the PinkFresh Studio Hibiscus stamps which I left on my Tim Holtz stamp platform. Using the PinkFresh Studio Hibiscus Layering Stencils, I applied Catherine Pooler Pixie Dust, Flirty Fuchsia, Bellini, Orange Peel, Sage and Eucalyptus inks. I put the cardstock back into the stamp platform and stamped over the images a second time in Versamark and applied Hero Arts Detail Black Embossing Powder to get a good crisp impression. I then cut the images with the coordinating PinkFresh Studio Hibiscus Die.

I die cut the diamond pattern into the front flap of the card base using the Sizzix Mixed Media Thinlits and adhered a piece of CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Flame cardstock behind the apertures. I adhered the florals to the card front with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares. I stamped a variety of birthday sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black ink using the Taylored Expressions Simple Strips-Birthday stamp set and cut them with the coordinating Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Asymmetrical Die. The finishing touch was adding a sentiment strip and several Eyelet Outlet orange pearls.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Flame cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Ranger Letter It Shower stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added a small PinkFresh Studio stamped, stenciled and die cut floral.

Scrappy hugs,

You’re Tea-riffic fun fold

Howdy peeps! Well, we’ve hit another Friday because another week has gone POOF – and it’s the last day of June! I keep saying Christmas will be here before we know it! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project. This double gate fold is one of my favorite fun folds to create because it’s so easy and really packs a punch! I love these older Taylored Expressions Tea-riffic stamps and dies, and it definitely helps to have pretty double-sided papers like these from Keep It Simple to make fun folds with!

I cut the double gate fold card base from a double-sided paper in the Keep It Simple Mango 12×12 Collection pack along with layering panels from CutCardStock Basis Natural and two more patterned papers in the Mango paper pack. I stamped the stacked cups from the Taylored Expressions Tea-riffic stamp set on Basis Natural, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them with the coordinating Taylored Expressions Tea-riffic die set. I adhered the stacked cups on die cut layered circles using the Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Classic Scalloped Circles Large dies. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink in the lower right corner and added several Eyelet Outlet orange pearls.

I adhered the layers and strips for the inside panel and stamped another sentiment from the same stamp set in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink, coloring the cups with alcohol markers.

Scrappy hugs,

Coffee Gift Tote

Hey everybody! Happy Thursday to you – I hope you’re having a great week with some beautiful weather! I’m back this morning with another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project! This Coffee Gift Tote was seriously fun; I made my own patterned paper for the tote and I made the earrings!

I stamped a coffee bean from the Taylored Expressions Joe To-Go stamp set in Catherine Pooler Over Coffee ink randomly over a square piece of CutCardStock Twine cardstock. I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and Stampin’ Up! 1″ circle punch to create the gift tote which I embellished with a coffee cup popped up on 3D foam circles. I created a card to go in the tote with a sentiment stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock, layered on Twine and another Baronial Ivory cardstock panel. To make the earrings, I stamped the coffee cup and coffee bean twice in Ranger ground espresso archival ink on Grafix Shrink Film and colored the lids with an ultra fine pink Sharpie marker. I punched holes with my Stampin’ Up 1/16″ circle punch and cut them with the coordinating TE die. I used my Milwaukee heat tool to shrink them, and added earring wires and rings and TE rubber earring backs.

Here are a couple additional shots of the gift tote. I created a closure with a Funkie Junkie Boutique tiny clothespin embellished with a bow fashioned from Doodlebug Design Lily White Doodle Twine.

Scrappy hugs,

Tea is always a good idea

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a fabulous week! I’m back this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project! You know how I love me some fun folds, and many of the projects I make all year long are fun folds! This sliding pop-up card features tall cups with a tea-theme!

I cut the card base from a double-sided paper in the Keep It Simple Rose 12×12 Collection Pack along with layering panels and strips from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock and coordinating papers in the Rose paper pack. I stamped the tall cups from the Prickley Pear Stamps Tea stamp set in Catherine Pooler Black Jack ink on a scrap piece of Basis White and colored them with alcohol markers. I added a little shimmer to each with a Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen and cut them with the coordinating Prickley Pear Stamps Coffee Cup die set. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set in black ink and added an Eyelet Outlet heart pearl.

I cut the back panel from Basis White and embellished it with a leftover strip of patterned paper from the Keep It Simple Rose 12×12 Collection Pack. I left it blank for a custom sentiment and signature.

Scrappy hugs,

Coffee Diorama Card

Hey everybody! My wish for you is to have a terrific Tuesday! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project! This fun coffee diorama card features fun papers, ephemera, stamps and dies from several different brands. This is such an easy fun fold and I’ve made many of them over the years.

I cut the card base and an embellishing strip from coordinating papers in the Keep It Simple Royal 12×12 Collection Pack. Next, I cut a front layering panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, added some ephemera from the Royal paper pack and a stamped sentiment from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Mwah stamp set (stamped in Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes ink). The finishing touch was adding several Keep It Simple Royal enamel dots.

For the inside, I cut an aperture and frame using the Memory Box Stitched Octagon dies. I used one of the freebie Trinity Stamps coffee cup dies and stamped a sentiment on the cup from the Prickley Pear Stamps Coffee Cup stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added steam (from the same Prickley Pear Stamps Coffee Cup stamps) stamped in Catherine Pooler Twilight ink on vellum and cut it with the coordinating Prickley Pear Stamps Coffee Cup dies. A signature panel was added below the aperture with another sentiment from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Mwah stamp set stamped in Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes ink.

And here’s a close-up showing off that fun sentiment!

Scrappy hugs,

Grand Adventure Tea Bag Dispenser

Hey everybody! Happy Monday! The weekend sure did fly by, didn’t it?! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project. My inspiration for making this awesome little tea bag dispenser came from the Splitcoast Stampers tutorial HERE. This is a really easy project that packs a great punch – and what a great gift idea for the tea drinkers in your life! ;)

I cut the box and the lid from CutCardStock Basis 80# White 12×12 cardstock along with layering panels from coordinating papers in the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Cottage Fields 6×8 paper pad. I’m a butterfly fanatic so I made sure to include one on the front panel. I fussy cut a second one and adhered it over the patterned paper for a little dimension. I used my Stampin’ Up 1″ circle punch to create a semi-circle at the bottom of the front panel for ease in removing the tea bags. I added a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic Quotations Sticker along with a few Darice small clear gemstones, which completed the project.

Here’s a shot of the box with the lid removed. I really love how this turned out!

Scrappy hugs,

hello

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! It’s time for another Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen DT inspiration project! This fun coffee cup shaped friendship card features Simple Stories patterned paper with a gorgeous butterfly and die cut sentiment on a corrugated ‘cup sleeve.’ I’ve made several of these coffee cup shaped cards over the years and the design never gets old!

I cut the card base and lid elements from CutCardStock Basis 110# Natural cardstock along with layering panels from a pretty floral print in the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Cottage Fields 6×8 paper pad and kraft corrugated paper in my stash. I die cut the sentiment twice (and layered them) from CutCardStock Pop Tone Sno Cone cardstock using the Mama Elephant hello script die. The finishing touch was adding a fussy-cut butterfly (from the same Simple Stories paper pad).

I embellished the inside flap with the same Simple Stories floral print used on the front, and stamped a sentiment from the Taylored Expressions Joe To Go stamp set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink.
