Hey everybody, happy Thursday! We’re another day closer to the weekend and the middle of April already! Where is the time going?! I have another amazing Tape Runner DT inspiration project to share with you today! I created a pretty Spring-themed page in my new handmade art journal, and of course, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner!

I bought a leather-bound art journal years ago when I first tried my hand at art journaling and it warped so badly from the mediums I used that I ended up tearing the finished pages out of it and throwing them all away. The now blank journal is still sitting on a shelf with several heavy books on top of it to try to straighten it out, and I’ll probably use it for notes, lists and such going forward so it doesn’t completely go to waste. That said, my Stamped Smiles blog friend, Vicki, inspired me last month to make my own art journal from heavyweight cardstsock. So I cut 7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ panels from Neenah Classic Crest 165# Solar White cardstock and used three 7 Gypsies Binding Rings on the left side so I can remove the pages to work on each one separately. And the beauty is I can add heavyweight watercolor panels when the mood hits me to do ‘wet’ AJ pages. I think I’m gonna love this and I’m not sure why I didn’t do it sooner!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Spray adhesive was used to adhere the fence and flowers, and double-sided adhesive foam circles were used to pop up the large purple butterfly. This is a ‘dry’ art journal page created with 49 and Market Curators Botanical 6×8 Double-Sided Papers, Postage Stamp Washi Tape, Ephemera Bits, Tag Set, Laser Cut Elements, and Rub-On Transfers, with some added stamping to create texture to the page.

I started with a green patterned paper for the background and then added a strip of postage stamp washi tape. I gathered some ephemera, a tag, and laser cut elements, and adhered them to the page, layering them one by one. I used a small rub-on from the collection to add some texture. I also used a stamp from the Stampin’ Up Timeless Textures stamp set to add some additional areas of texture to the page. The final touch was adding several Taylored Expressions White Rhinestones.

And one more look at the page… OMGoodness, I’m in love with this collection! And it’s great to have the amazing Tape Runner to hold it all together!

Hi everyone! It’s Wednesday and I hope you’re having a great week! The weeks sure do seem to go by faster and faster! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a sweet mini slimline encouragement card featuring some STAMPlorations Rainbow Ephemera Tiles, a scalloped die cut, and a little bit o’ bling. And of course, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner! I love rainbows because they are a sign of hope and good things to come. I donated this card to the Bearly Arts Cards for Cubs project so the rainbow theme fit perfectly!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the narrow strips and bling. I cut a mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Basis Light Yellow cardstock which I adhered to the card base. I also cut a scalloped border and strip from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Blue Raspberry cardstock. I trimmed the STAMPlorations Rainbow Ephemera Tiles that I received in a Paper Goods sampler with one of my orders (aren’t they awesome?!) and adhered them to the card front with 1mm-thick double-sided adhesive foam squares. I adhered the scalloped border and strip, and stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Rainbow Builder stamp set in Catherine Pooler Fiesta Blue ink. I stamped the sentiment a second time in Versamark and added Judi-Kins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment a third time in Versamark and added Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder to ensure the iridescent sparkle wouldn’t flake off. I added Eyelet Outlet Clear Jewel Bling to the scalloped border to complete the card front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of CutCardStock Pop-Tone Blue Raspberry cardstock. I left the panel blank leaving plenty of room for a custom message, and layered it on CutCardStock Basis Light Yellow cardstock.

And one more peek… such an awesome card with a message of hope! And having great adhesive is definitely a plus! Win-win!

Hey everybody – Happy Monday! Have some good news… our last two un-fixed feline kids (little girl Flutterby and little boy Fogg) are going to the vet tomorrow to get fixed, and then all 18 are done! Whew! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve stopped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project. This pretty encouragement card features the In The Meadow Washi Tape and Dies from PinkFresh Studio along with the Yvonne Creations Trellis Frame die, and all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. This is another card that I donated to Cards for Cubs. ;)

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the trellis die cut and narrow sentiment strip. I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base and the trellis die cut from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock, and adhered the die cut to the card front. I applied the PinkFresh Studio In The Meadow washi tape to a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock (heavyweight for stability) and then cut the florals with the coordinating PinkFresh Studio In The Meadow die set. I adhered the largest cluster to the top of the trellis die cut. I had already used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil SystemSpellbinders Glimmer Gold Foil and Spellbinders Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set to create a variety of sentiments on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock. I chose the sentiment from the bunch that I wanted to use on this card and adhered it toward the bottom of the card front. The finishing touch was adding tiny dots of Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries on the cluster.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with some small leaves created with the PinkFresh In The Meadow Washi Tape and cut with the coordinating die. I layered the panel on CutCardStock Amaranth cardstock which completed the card.

And here’s one more peek… so loving how this turned out! I love knowing how secure the panels are when adhering them with Tape Runner!

Hi everyone! Well y’all, we’ve rounded the corner to another Thursday so that means we’re on the down-slide to Friday! Hope your weather is warming up just a little bit and you have something fun planned this weekend! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a cool birthday card featuring a STAMPlorations Wish Big A2 Card Front that was included a Paper Goods sampler tucked into one of my orders a while back, and of course, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. I also used CUTplorations Circles All Over Texture Cover Plate and Skinny Sentiments (some of my all-time favorites) on this card front. I donated this card to the Bearly Arts Cards for Cubs project. :)

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the front sentiment and the narrow strip inside. I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Black Licorice cardstock. I trimmed the STAMPlorations Wish Big A2 Card Front and ran it through the Big Shot with the CUTplorations Circles All Over Texture Cover Plate to give it a little interest. I layered it on the black cardstock panel and adhered it to the card base. Using the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments, I die cut the sentiment from the black cardstock and adhered it to the bottom right, completing the card front. No bling or anything else… very unusual for me, lol! ;)

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock and embellished it with a leftover strip trimmed from the Wish Big Card Front and a narrow strip of CutCardStock Pop-Tone Black Licorice cardstock. I left the inside panel blank with plenty of room to write a custom message, and layered the panel on black cardstock.

And one more peek… love how this simple card took shape! The secure assembly of all the layers with Tape Runner speaks volumes!

Believe

Hi everyone! Can you believe it’s the last day of February already?! I’m telling you, it’ll be Christmas again before we know it! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a pretty encouragement card in navy blue and pale pink, another one of my favorite color combos, and of course, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. I’m donating this card to the Bearly Arts Cards for Cubs project, and encouragement is one of the themes requested, so here we are!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the sentiment and the narrow strips. I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and rounded the bottom right corner. I also cut a blue layering panel from CutCardStock Royal Sundance Linen Midnight Blue and a narrow strip from CutCardStock Curious Metallic Pink Quartz cardstock and adhered them to the card base. I had a STAMPlorations Blue Blooms ATC in my stash that was part of a Paper Goods sampler included with one of my orders a while back, so I rounded the bottom right corner and adhered it to the card front, popping it up on the right side with thin double-sided 3-D foam squares so it’s even with the cardstock panel and strip on the left side. Using the STAMPlorations Believe word die, I die cut the sentiment from the pink quartz cardstock and adhered it in a vertical fashion on the left side of the ATC. The finishing touch was adding three Eyelet Outlet pink enamel dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of CutCardStock Curious Metallic Pink Quartz cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Altenew Painted Butterflies stamp set in Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist ink and layered the panel on CutCardStock Royal Sundance Linen Midnight Blue cardstock.

And one more look… so happy with how this turned out! I do love the color combo, and I love the secure assembly with this awesome Tape Runner!

Scrappy hugs,

Fall Tag

Hey everybody! Happy Monday to you all – here’s to a FABulous week ahead! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a pretty Fall tag using some amazing STAMPlorations products and some other items from my stash, and of course, all panels and most elements were adhered with Tape Runner. Fall is my favorite season and Christmas is my favorite holiday, so my brain is always geared up for that time of year. And you all know I’m not a seasonal crafter… I’m all over the place and I create whatever pops into my head! ;)

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the hand-rolled elements, and hot glue was used to adhere the paper flowers and bow. I die cut a tag from GKD Tomato Soup cardstock using the STAMPlorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies. I then built up the layers on the tag with Hot Off The Press yellow gingham paper which I tore before adhering, STAMPlorations Newsprint Autumn Ephemera Tiles, STAMPlorations Autumn Cozy Ephemera, a doily, two hand-rolled elements created from CutCardStock Basis Light Brown cardstock, three Wild Orchid Crafts paper flowers, and a bamboo crafting cord bow.

I added Darice gold glitter alpha stickers to spell ‘fall’ along with several Flourish with a Bling antique gold pearls. The final touch was threading Really Reasonable Ribbon autumn ribbon through the hole at the top and securing it with bamboo crafting cord tied in a knot.

And one more peek… I’m so smitten with this tag and LOVE how it turned out! Sometimes layering multiple items can be somewhat daunting, but when you have just the right kind of paper and ephemera along with Tape Runner, there’s nothing to hold you back! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

Sending Birthday Wishes

Hi everybody! It’s Thursday already and I hope you’ve had a fabulous week! We only had one appointment this week and it was to get shots for two of our inside feline kids. I keep the inside and outside kitty appointments in the same planner I keep Ed’s and my appointments in, lol, since there are quite a few to keep up with! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! Y’all, this card literally took five minutes to make. Yep, you read that right… five minutes… albeit I already had the floral die cut and the foiled sentiment made. It would have taken a little longer had I needed to make those as well. So let me side-track for a minute… I got the four sets of PinkFresh Studio coordinating washi tape and die sets last week that I’ve been wanting, and I’m in love! They are ah-maaazing and so fun to play with! I die cut whole sets at once so they’re ready to put on cards. And the foiled sentiment is one of many that I made a while back when I got my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System.

The panels and floral die cut were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the narrow sentiment strip and gemstones. Using the Papertrey Ink Noted: Scalloped A2 Die Collection, I cut a standard size A2 stitched scalloped card base and stitched rectangle layering panel from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock. I had already applied the PinkFresh Studio Joyful Bouquet washi tape to a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock (heavyweight for stability) and then cut the florals with the coordinating PinkFresh Studio Joyful Bouquet die set. I adhered the largest bouquet to the stitched rectangle layering panel. I had already used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, Spellbinders Glimmer Gold Foil and Spellbinders Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set to create a variety of sentiments on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock. I chose the sentiment from the bunch that I wanted to use on this card and adhered it across the bottom portion of the bouquet. The finishing touch was adding several gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Amber Glow Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick-Up Stick.

I cut a second stitched rectangle layering panel from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock using the Papertrey Ink Noted: Scalloped A2 Die Collection and adhered it to the inside of the card base. I’m donating this card to the Bearly Arts Cards for Cubs project so I left the inside blank with plenty of room to write a custom message.

And one more peek… I’m smitten with this super simple card and can’t wait to make more using the Retractable Tape Runner to assemble them! So clean and easy to use!

Hey everybody! Our Tape Runner DT boss posted our DT collage yesterday, so I guess that makes the announcement that I joined the Tape Runner design team in January officially official, lol! Hopefully you caught the three projects I posted last month!

Coffee Note Card

Hey everybody! Happy Happy Monday! I can’t believe it’s the last day of January already! Wow! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a fun coffee note card using our Retractable Tape Runner and our pink Highlight Tape Runner! I had no clue that there was a choice other than a messy marker that may bleed through paper until I joined this design team! And check this out – if you decide you want a different line highlighted, you can erase it (I used my adhesive eraser) and re-highlight somewhere else! Hallelujah… can’t tell you how many times that’s happened to me! I used it totally for fun on the background of this card to highlight “Drink the coffee, then do the things.” Love it!

I cut a standard size A2 card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Astrobrights Pulsar Pink cardstock, and rounded the bottom right corner of all. I stamped the Trinity Stamps Encouragement Text background on the white cardstock panel in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink and adhered it to the pink cardstock panel. I highlighted a fun segment of text pertaining to coffee using the pink Highlight Tape Runner. Using the Trinity Stamps Cut & Foil Coffee Die Set (dies only), I die cut the coffee cup from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, CutCardStock Basis Light Brown cardstock and CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock, assembled it and adhered it to the panel. I added three Eyelet Outlet coffee bean brads at the bottom, and then the finishing touch was adhering the word die cut at the top. All panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the text background trimmed off the front panel as well as a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock. This is a note card so I left the inside panel blank and layered it on CutCardStock Astrobrights Pulsar Pink cardstock.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out! I’m totally thrilled to share the Highlight Tape Runner with you all… totally a game-changer when needing to highlight text!

Embellishment Bowls & Serving Trays, Oh My!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Thursday to you all! Where has this week gone?! It was just Monday afternoon a minute ago, lol! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a set of two embellishment bowls and two serving trays for my studio with my Scan N Cut, and all the tabs and panels were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner.

I cut the bases for the bowls and trays from CutCardStock Curious Metallic Night cardstock and the panels for each from Crafter’s Companion Verity Rose 6×6 luxury paper pad. The construction was super simple, and as mentioned above, I adhered all the tabs and panels with Retractable Tape Runner. This is a good strong adhesive – and perfect for this type of project.

These bowls are great for small die cut pieces and the trays are great for dies or ephemera. I think, as crafters, we all can identify with losing stuff we’re working with, and having these in my studio is a huge stress-reliever because I don’t have to search for MIA items! This is the second set of bowls I’ve made but the first set of trays, and I sure do love them. On a side note, I guess it’s time to admit that I’ve moved a table into my studio where my Scan N Cut now lives – so I cut whatever file I want whenever I want. I mentioned several weeks ago that this is the longest it’s been out of the cabinet since I’ve owned it so I figured I might just as well make that a permanent situation! Here’s another peek at the sets. Loving how they turned out!
