Hi friends, I hope your week is clicking along at a nice rate and you’re enjoying some nice weather! It has been kind of rainy here but at least Spring does finally appear to have sprung, lol! I have a pretty ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project to share with you today created with items in the April 2026 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades. I am loving all the pretty papers and coordinating elements in the upgrades in this month’s kit. I recently saw this expanding panel card on Lisa Curcio’s blog which is actually another type of Z-fold, and I love it! Love it so much that I’ve made a couple of them!
I cut the two card base panels from Lessebo Coffee Bean cardstock and layered a pretty pink plaid paper from this month’s collection on the front panel. I added a decorative rectangle cut with a Pinkfresh Studio Rounded & Braided Rectangles die from Classic Linen 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a fussy-cut flower from one of the journaling cards in the kit.
I added a die cut sentiment from Rosie’s Studio Frolic Diecut Cardstock Sentiments in the upgrades which I popped up on Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares. The finishing touch on the front was adding clear iridescent gemstones around the rectangle die cut.
I cut the expanding panel on the inside from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips cut from prints in the collection, along with a chipboard piece from Rosie’s Studio Frolic Chipboard Embellishments and a couple die cuts from Rosie’s Studio Frolic Diecut Cardstock Sentiments in the upgrades. I’ve included an additional overhead shot so you can see the fun construction. It really IS just another type of Z-fold, lol! So easy!
