Garden Bench Gift Box

Hi everyone! I just love this time of year! Flowers blooming, birds chirping, and most of all we’re still having cool nights along with mildly warm days! Today is my post day on the Simply Crafty SVGs blog and I’m excited to share my Garden Bench gift box using the amazing Garden Bench cut file which I absolutely love! I just can’t get over that it’s a gift box! I think this would be absolutely adorable stuffed with an assortment of flowers for a crafty friend! What do you think?!

I used 120# kraft cardstock for the base and a scrap piece of multi-color striped paper for the coordinating front and side pieces which I inked.

Here’s a shot of the back that I left plain.

I embellished the bench with Nuvo Crystal Drops and a couple butterflies because we can usually find butterflies in our garden. :)

One last shot with the box lid open. L-O-V-E how this turned out! ;)

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Paper Accents 120# kraft cardstock, Stampin’ Up Whole Lot of Lovely DSP
Ink: Ranger Black Soot distress ink
Dies/Punches: Simply Crafty SVGs Garden Bench cut file
Accessories:  Tim Holtz Botanical ephemera, Nuvo Neptune Pearlized Crystal Drops

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this adorable Garden Bench gift box! Be sure to check out all the fun cut files over at Simply Crafty SVGs – it’s just too darn easy to spend hours there, lol! And there are tons of freebies! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D

  1. I love this…especially that you created it out of kraft paper. The Nuvo drops were a great addition. You must have a steady hand!

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment! I love reading them!
