You are a fabulous work of art

Hi everyone! Hope you’ve had a good week! I’m super stoked to share my first DT inspiration project for the Happy Little Stampers ATC Team! Yep, I joined the ATC Team in conjunction with the HLS Die Team! The theme for our January ATC Challenge is Vintage and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I’ve only created a couple ATCs (yep, two to be exact, lol) so I’m thrilled to get some more practice under my belt! These are quite small in comparison – I usually create cards – so the ‘canvas space’ has to be adjusted accordingly. I have to say they are fun despite being challenging! ;)

I cut the ATC (2.5″ x 3.5″) from 120# kraft cardstock and rounded the corners. I stamped a background over the top three-quarters with a flourish stamp in walnut stain distress ink and then stamped a dotted strip across the bottom one-quarter in gold ink which I stamped again in Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then stamped little clusters of dots in picked raspberry distress ink randomly over the flourishes. I separated the stamped sections with pink and gold paper strips and added several pink Dot Sparklers to the pink strip. The little ballerina is a Tim Holtz Paperdoll, and I embellished her tutu with stamped Versamark and a sprinkling of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, and then set with a fixative. I heat embossed the ‘work of art’ sentiment to complete the ATC.

And here’s one final look… I’m definitely happy with how this turned out! What a fun project – I know I’m going to totally love being on this new design team! :D
