make every day matter

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a great week! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Christmas [or not] BINGO Challenges and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project for ConBC #7 – Anything Goes with Featured BINGO Card. I went with Column I this time (stripes, monochrome, tag, no stamping) and created a collaged anniversary card for my son and daughter-in-law. Those 49 and Market Curators Botanical Ephemera Bits and Rub-On Transfer Sheet were calling my name so I had to play! ;)

I cut the card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from a paper in the Keep It Simple Back To Basics Jade 12×12 Collection Pack. I picked out quite a few pieces of ephemera from the same Jade Collection Pack (including two corners which I stapled using a Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher) and a bunch of pieces of ephemera from the 49 and Market Curators Botanical Ephemera Bits, popping some of them up on foam strips. I used the 49 and Market Rub-On Transfer Sheet to add a couple elements directly to the layering panel and a large one on the tag. I added an old triangle paper clip from my stash and several green gemstones which completed the card front. To say this was ‘fun’ is an understatement, lol! I had a blast!

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White and embellished it with a strip of coordinating paper from the Jade Collection Pack. I added a 49 and Market Ephemera piece for the sentiment and layered the panel on more paper from the Jade Collection Pack.

  1. Leslie, I love this card. Green is my favorite color (next to brown) and I love all the different greens in this one. The layers are soooo cool! I see a stamp in there. I would have never thought of that, but what a great idea. I love the look! :)
