You make me Hoppy

Hi everybody! We’re Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve popped in to share another sample I created for the Prickley Pear Stamps new release. This card features the most adorable Spinach and Ramona from the new Frog Pals stamp set with the coordinating Frog die set. I had a little scene-building fun standing Ramona and Spinach in front of a little pond in the background, holding hands, complete with butterflies, a cloud and the sun. Oh so super cute!

I cut a mini slimline landscape top-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock and CutCardStock Basis Medium Blue cardstock. I stamped the cattails and greenery from the Frog Pals stamp set to start the background scene, then added a hand-drawn pond, the cloud and the sun. I stamped Ramona and Spinach (from the same stamp set) on a scrap piece of CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock, and colored everything with alcohol markers. I stamped the sentiment and butterflies (also from the same stamp set), adhered the panel to the medium blue cardstock panel and then to the card base.

I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock, stamped the sentiment and a waterlily in black ink, and layered the panel on CutCardStock Basis Medium Blue cardstock.

And one more look… such an adorable stamp set with fun images and sentiments! Love how this card turned out!

My Favorite Recipes

Hey, everybody! Well, it’s Thursday so that means we’ve surpassed another Hump Day and are on the downslide to the weekend! I’m thrilled to be back on the Clear Scraps blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I used the Slimline Acrylic Tab Album to create a mini collection of my favorite recipes – two each of Dessert, Meat, Veggie, Side and Soup/Stew. I have to say that the hardest part was picking out the few recipes that would fit in this album because I have a bunch of favorites lol!

I printed the recipes on 32# copy paper, and printed the 2″ square finished recipe images on glossy photo paper and cut them with a square die. I covered all the album pages with patterned papers from The Paper Studio Tattered and Worn 12 x 12 paper pad after removing the protective film on both sides of each tabbed page. I inked the edges of each page with walnut stain distress ink and then roughed them up with the Large Sanding Stick for an old worn-out vintage feel.

I stamped the page contents on each tab in brown ink using my stamp press, adhered the recipes to each page, and affixed foiled photo corners on the corners of each photo. I embellished the front and back covers and all the pages with Carta Bella and Echo Park patterned paper strips and stickers. I also used thick alphabet letters for the word ‘Recipes’ on the front cover, put the album together with binding rings, and added ribbon scraps to each ring to complete the album.

Here are close-up shots. Really loving how this turned out! Such a fun project!

Scrappy hugs,

I Love Fall

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! Mini slimlines (in 3-1/2″ x 6″ size that are legal to mail) are my new favorite kind of card to make these days, and I created a gorgeous Fall card featuring our Pumpkin Brads, Leaf Brads and Orange Pearl Bling! I got some new double-sided patterned paper packs that I’ve been itching to use! Plus, if you know me very well, then you know that I typically don’t stick to seasonal crafting… I’m all over the place and create whatever pops into my head! It’s Winter, so what’s wrong with a Fall card, I ask?! ;)

I cut a side-folding mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock and Stamp Anniething Autumn Life 6×6 double-sided papers. I used a corner punch on the two layering panels and adhered them together. I cut wide embellishing strips from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock, layered them together and adhered them horizontally across the front of the card, and adhered the panel to the card front. Using the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, I die cut an element for the front on which I stamped the sentiment from The Project Bin New Leaf stamp set in brown ink, added Pumpkin Brads and Leaf Brads, and adhered it to the card front. To finish it off, I added some Orange Pearl Bling.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and punched the corners with the corner punch. I stamped the sentiment (from the same TPB stamp set) in brown and orange inks, and layered it on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock.

And one more look… these pumpkin and leaf brads sure do make a gorgeous Fall card and are some of my favorites in the store!

Scrappy hugs,

Merry Christmas slimline

Hi everybody! Happy Saturday and Happy New Year! Today is the 1st day of the month which is always a busy blog day! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! Our first challenge of the new year launched this morning over at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I’m thrilled to share my DT inspiration project for MLCCB #42 – Anything Christmas Goes! Our challenges are always Anything Christmas Goes, and I created a pretty slimline in my favorite color of green using stamps from Prickley Pear Stamps and an assortment of dies!

I cut my go-to size of 9″ x 3-3/4″ slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock, along with a layering panel from a green plaid pattern from the Christmas Print 6×6 Cardstock Pad. Using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Square STAX, I die cut three squares from CutCardStock Bonsai Green cardstock. I also cut three scalloped squares from CutCardStock Granny Smith cardstock using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX and an embellishing strip punched from black glitter paper using a scalloped edge punch. I stamped images from the Prickley Pear Stamps Christmas Holiday Gift Tags stamp set, colored them with alcohol markers and fussy cut them. I layered the die cut squares together, adhered the stamped and colored images, and adhered them to the card front. I added the black glitter paper scalloped border across the bottom, and the final touch was adding small black gemstones to the squares (which turned into diamond shapes, lol).

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a leftover plaid pattern strip used on the front, a strip of CutCardStock Bonsai Green cardstock and a strip of black glitter paper. I stamped the sentiment from the same Prickley Pear Stamps Christmas Holiday Gift Tags stamp set in black ink and layered the panel on the green cardstock. I had one extra stamped, colored and fussy-cut image which I adhered to the inside.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out! This stamp set is so versatile and fun to use!

Scrappy hugs,

Dream

Hi everybody! A big ol’ Happy Huuuump Day to you! Hope you’re having a fabulous week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the CutCardStock blog today with an awesome DT inspiration project featuring more of our Stardream Metallic cardstock that’s on sale this month so be sure to stock up! This is some amazing cardstock that will do your projects proud! I used Stardream Metallic Neptune cardstock and Stardream Metallic Silver cardstock which I paired with Basis Teal cardstock for some scallop detail on the inside of the card. The Neptune cardstock is a deep, deep teal color that’s almost black – and it’s shimmery and just gorgeous.

I cut a mini slimline card base (have I mentioned lately how much I love this size card?!) from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock along with layering panels from Stardream Metallic Neptune cardstock and Stardream Metallic Silver cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers Dies, which I adhered together and then to the card base. I found this glassware sticker at a Dollar Tree store that I visited last month while one of our kitties was at the vet getting a lion shave (yep, our Loki looks super cool!) and I had several hours to kill. I’ve never seen this type of sticker before but I imagined this dream catcher would look great on a card, and it does! Needless to say, I bought several of these glassware stickers in different themes to make more cards later on. ;) To complete the card front, I added a bunch of iridescent gemstones to the dream catcher. Lots of sparkle going on!

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers Dies and embellished it with scallop borders punched from Basis Teal cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Altenew Happy Dreams stamp set in teal ink and layered the panel on a Stardream Metallic Neptune cardstock die cut panel.

And one more peek… totally loving how this card turned out! I’m in love with this Stardream Metallic Neptune cardstock! I’ve had it in my stash for a while and this is the first time I’ve used it.

Sometimes you got to blow your own horn!

1/1/22 Winner at QKR Stampede!

Hi friends! Well, another Hump Day has rolled around and we got more snow last night so we’re happy campers! We’re hoping for a White Christmas this year! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve been on a mini slimline kick over the last several weeks and I created this one specifically to enter into the QKR Stampede Challenge #434 – Anything Goes this time! I won this ‘Tooting Angel’ digital image and ‘Blow Your Horn’ digital sentiment from QKR Stampede a while back and decided it was time to use them! So I created this Christmas card in non-traditional colors for a good friend of ours who I know will appreciate it! What a hoot!

I cut a side-folding mini slimline card base from CutCardStock Basis White 110# cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Amethyst cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers Dies. I printed the image and sentiment on CutCardStock Basis White 80# cardstock, cut the image with a die from the same slimline layers set and colored it with alcohol markers. I adhered the layers together and then to the card base, and added the sentiment which I cut with a stitched circle die. I added several gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Amethyst Accent Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick Up Stick to finish the card front.

I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Basis White 80# cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Amethyst cardstock. I stamped the Lawn Fawn sentiment in black ink and layered the panels together and then to the inside of the card base.

And one more peek… love, love, love this image – and she made the most adorable Christmas card!

Play & Make Good Cheer

Hi friends! Happy Thursday – I hope you’re having a great week! Seems we stay pretty busy but I always find time to craft in my happy place – that’s what keeps me sane, lol! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I have a super adorable mini slimline Christmas card to share this morning that I created for The Outlawz December Freebie/Progressive Challenge using the ‘Angel’ digital image gifted to us by the sponsor this month, MMedel Illustrations. If you haven’t joined The Outlawz Challenges yet, you ought to – there are always challenges going on and prizes to be won! And I know I’ve mentioned before that the perk for regularly participating in the Freebie/Progressive Challenge is a free digital image to create with! I am a clear/rubber stamp girl and don’t use many digis anymore but I have to admit that I enjoy participating in this challenge each month.

I printed the digital image on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. I’ve been on another mini slimline ‘kick’ and cut this mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Jupiter cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers Dies. I then cut the colored image with a slightly smaller mini slim die in the same set and adhered them together and then to the card base. I stamped the sentiment in black ink from the Prickley Pear Stamps Christmas Trees 2 stamp set and cut it with a stitched rectangle die. I trimmed off the top portion of the die cut and adhered it to the card front, lining up the top edge with the edge of the red layering panel. I added several gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Ruby Radiance Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick Up Stick to complete the front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers Dies, stamped the Lawn Fawn sentiment in black ink, and layered the panel on a slightly larger red die cut layering panel.

And one more peek… this is such an adorable image that made the cutest Christmas card!

Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! This card features the From Our Gnome to Yours stamp set and From Our Gnome to Yours die set, and the inside sentiment is from the A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything stamp set. I can’t get enough of the Trinity Stamps gnomes, so it’s no wonder that two of my four projects feature gnome stamps and dies!

I cut the mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from the Christmas Holiday Print 6×6 paper pad using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers die set. I cut a felt doily almost in half and set the larger piece aside. I stamped the focal image from the From Our Gnome to Yours stamp set in black ink on Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers, and cut it with the coordinating From Our Gnome to Yours die set. I stamped and die cut the sentiment from the same stamps and dies, and adhered all the elements to the card front. The final touch was adding some gemstones from the Ruby Radiance Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick Up Stick which is a “must” in your crafty stash!

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers die set and embellished it with a leftover strip of patterned paper used on the front. I stamped the sentiment from the A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything stamp set in black ink and layered the panel on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Jellybean Green cardstock cardstock.

Coffee

Hi friends! This is the second project I’m showcasing for the Trinity Ambassador “A Few of Our Favorite Things” Social Media Hop on Instagram starting at 6:00 AM PST this morning and ending at 11:59 PM PST on Friday, December 3rd! My main post is HERE. I mentioned in my last post that I was in a mini slimline kind of mood… and three of my four projects were mini slims, lol! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! This card features die cuts from the Coffee Cut & Foil Die Set and the inside sentiment is from A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything stamp set. I wanted a ‘country’ feel to this card so that’s why I chose not to use the foil plates. But stay tuned because it won’t be long before I do use them!

I cut the mini slimline card base from CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock along with a layering panel from Hot Off The Press Sunflowers 6×6 double-sided cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers die set. I die cut the coffee sentiment four times from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock using the die from the Coffee Cut & Foil Die Set and layered them together for a little dimension. I die cut the coffee cup from ivory and brown cardstock, the coffee beans from brown cardstock, and the mid section of the cup and beans from scraps of the patterned paper, and did some paper piecing to complete them. I adhered all the elements to the card front (using double-sided adhesive foam strips for the cup), and added a few gemstones from the Ruby Radiance Embellishment Mix using the Trinity Pick Up Stick – which is a true life-saver when adhering gemstones!

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers die set and embellished it with a leftover strip of patterned paper used on the front and a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything stamp set in brown ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card base. I had leftover heart die cuts so I pieced one together and adhered it to the inside panel.

And one more peek… super awesome coffee-loving card! Love the country feel!

We’re Gnome for the Holidays

Hi everybody! This is the first project I’m showcasing for the Trinity Ambassador “A Few of Our Favorite Things” Social Media Hop on Instagram starting at 6:00 AM PST this morning and ending at 11:59 PM PST on Friday, December 3rd! My main post is HERE. I was in a mini slimline kind of mood… my new favorite size card (3-1/2″ x 6″) that’s a legal size to mail! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! This card features the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set and Gnome for the Holidays die set and the inside sentiment is from the A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything stamp set. Such a fun little travelin’ scene!

For your chance to win a $20 gift card to the Trinity Stamps store, be sure to hop along with us on Instagram, starting at @trinitystampsllc – there will be a ton of inspiration! Winners will be announced on the Trinity Stamps blog by December 5th! Have fun hopping!

I cut the mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from the Christmas Holiday Print 6×6 paper pad using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers die set. I hand-cut the highway from CutCardStock Basis Gray cardstock and used a white paint pen to draw the dotted center line. I stamped the focal image from the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set in black ink on Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers (and gold pen for the ornaments), and cut it with the coordinating Gnome for the Holidays die set. I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the headlights and the gold ornaments on the tree. I stamped and die cut the sentiment from the same stamps and dies, and adhered all the elements to the card front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock using the Waffle Flower Mini Slimline Layers die set and embellished it with a leftover strip of patterned paper used on the front and a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Gray cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything stamp set in black ink and layered the panel on gray cardstock.

And one more look… I absolutely LOVE gnomes, and Trinity Stamps has some of the most adorable out there! Super happy with this travelin’ guy! ;)
