Hi friends, happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Creative Creases and I’m delighted to share my DT inspiration project for Challenge #104. My inspiration for this adorable origami style folded card came from Rachel Tessman’s video HERE. There are quite a few videos out there for shirt cards but this is the one I landed on a while back just prior to designing my own shirt card template. I hope you try this folded one – it’s definitely fun!
With a sheet of 20# copy paper in hand and Rachel’s video on my phone, I folded the shirt. I added panels of CutCardStock Lessebo Navy Blue cardstock and a print from the Crafter’s Companion Just For Men Urban 6×6 paper pad. I used some ancient (yep, I mean old) brown brads from my stash for the buttons. The front sentiment is from the Trinity Stamps A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything stamp set. I didn’t write down which stamp set I used for the inside sentiment and now I can’t remember, lol. If it comes to me, I will update this post.

Hey everybody, happy Wednesday! How did it get to be June already?! DANG… it’ll be Christmas again before we know it! I’m stoked to share a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you today that went live on the storefront’s ‘How To’ page in mid April and I forgot to post it! This center flap fold is one of my all-time favorite fun folds and was so much fun to make using our Little Dreamer collection!
Here are mini instructions for this card: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base scored at 4-1/4″ on the long side. Fold on the score line and open it back up with the fold in horizontal orientation. Measure 1-1/4″ in from the left and right edges and cut from the top edge down to the score line on each side. Apply adhesive to the 1-1/4″ flaps and adhere them flat to the card base. Adhere 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ patterned paper pieces to the side panels. Adhere a 2-7/8″ x 4-1/8″ patterned paper piece to the center flap. Finally, adhere a 2-3/4″ x 4″ white panel to the inside. Decorate the side panels, center flap and inside as desired. I used Little Dreamer papers and die cut pieces along with some yellow gingham ribbon.
And here’s a shot of the inside. So stinkin’ cute!

Hey everybody, Happy Saturday! I hope you have something fun planned this weekend and you’re gonna have some beautiful weather to do it in! I’m stoked to share another DT inspiration project for Keep It Simple. This adorable pair of A2 cards features our new KIS Cuts We’re All Ears Dies and Collection Stamps which are part of our Best Day Ever Collection, and these cards are so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! I also used several colors of our Back To Basics papers as well as our A2 #4 Frame dies. This design is super simple and could easily be mass produced to create a gift set for that ‘mouse’ fan! ;)
I cut the two top-folding card bases from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from our Back To Basics Ruby 6×9 Collection Pack and a die cut panel (using our Shaker Frames A2 Frames #4) from Celebration Warehouse Black Non-Shedding Glitter cardstock. Then the fun began… cutting the image layers from our Back To Basics Black & White, Ruby and Lemon 6×9 Collection Packs and assembling them for the card fronts.
I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a leftover strip of the Ruby paper. I stamped a sentiment from the Best Day Ever We’re All Ears Collection Stamps in Versafine Onyx Black ink and layered the panel on more of the Ruby paper. The inside is the same on each card.
The speech balloon and letters were die cut from Solar White cardstock and then I colored the letters with a Copic Ciao B24 Sky alcohol marker. So fun and such an easy design!

Hey everybody, Happy Friday! I’m back with my second post this morning… this one is for Keep It Simple and features our new KIS Cuts Triangle Accordion Pocket Card that launched back in March. It truly is a fun card to put together and I’m so proud that this die set was a take-off of one of my designs! I used papers and die cut pieces from our Sent With Love collection to create this fun ‘love you’ card which could be a Valentine or a card for an anniversary or just because!
Using the KIS Cuts Triangle Accordion Pocket Card dies, I cut the pieces from 80# Cougar Smooth White cardstock and an assortment of prints and die cut pieces from our Sent With Love collection. I love that this die set does all the work, lol!
I used one of our Back To Basics Stitched Rectangles Nested Dies to cut the card to insert into the pocket which I embellished with a journal card from the paper collection.

Hey everybody, how did it get to be the last Friday in May… already?! Dang, the time is flying by waaaay too fast! I’m delighted to share a Brutus Monroe DT inspiration project today featuring our wonderful new Brighter Day stamp set and Flower Power papers which I paired with our Lace Layers nested dies, Jack O Lantern cardstock and Red Shift flat back crystals. This front flap fold that I’ve turned into a friendship card is one of my all-time favorite fun folds. I’ve made many of these over the years and the flap can be put on either side and can be any width, and the focal element can be any shape. There are tons of different ways to make this card!
Mini instructions: Cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ flat card base with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layering panel cut from either patterned paper or cardstock. Cut a 3-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ piece of cardstock scored at 4-1/4″ with a 3″ x 4″ layering panel cut from patterned paper. This creates the smaller front flap and is adhered to either the left or right side… there’s no wrong way to do this. I’m left-handed so I naturally navigate to the left side, lol. Cut an additional 3″ x 4″ piece from plain paper for the sentiment panel inside the smaller front flap. Embellish as desired.
I cut a 2-1/8″ x 2-7/8″ panel of Jack O Lantern cardstock for the focal element and layered a slightly larger 2-1/4″ x 3″ panel of off-white paper from the Flower Power paper pack under it. I stamped the image from the Brighter Day stamp set, colored it with bright markers, and fussy cut it. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set in vertical fashion and added an epoxy heart from my stash. After adhering the focal element to the front flap, I added a strip cut from the edge of one of the Lace Layers die along with a semi-oval and flower cut from prints in the Flower Power paper pack. The finishing touch was adding several Red Shift flat back crystals.
I trimmed an off-white paper from the same Flower Power paper pack, incorporating the rainbow and flowers at the bottom of the panel. I stamped the other sentiment in the Brighter Day stamp set in Raven ink, which completed the card. Another super easy fun fold… let me know if you make one!

Hey everybody, happy Wednesday! Time sure is flying by and I can’t believe it’s nearly the end of May – and nearly the middle of the year! I’m up on the Love From Lizi blog today with a tutorial for making a diamond panel card with an acetate front that features papers, stamps, ephemera, and a few other embellishments from our June release. I’ve made a couple of these now – this design is beautiful in any color combo and really packs a punch!
I’ll start by apologizing for the beads of light glare on my photos… acetate is so hard to photograph. I don’t know why I’m so drawn to using it on my projects, lol! So this card is 6″ square with a Grafix Crystal Clear Craft Plastic front panel adhered to a CutCardStock 100# Cougar Smooth White back panel. I cut one 3″ square and eight 2″ squares from 80# Cougar Smooth White along with one 2-3/4″ square of yellow polka dot paper, four 1-3/4″ pink polka dot and four more 1-3/4″ green polka dot paper (all from Love From Lizi).
I added a sweet Fairy from the Make A Wish Ephemera, popping her up on foam squares. I stamped part of the sentiment from the Make A Wish Stamp set and created the other part of the sentiment using Pastel Puffy Alphabet 3D Stickers. I completed the front with several Mini Twinkle Pink Holographic Peel-Off Stickers for a little bling.
I stamped an additional sentiment from the Make A Wish Stamp Set and added another piece of ephemera. I totally love how this turned out!

Hey everybody, happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed some beautiful Spring weather. I am absolutely delighted to share that the Love From Lizi design team is collaborating with Pear Blossom Press for an IG Hop! Be sure to hop along with us (starting on the Pear Blossom Press IG page) to get in on the chance to win a prize! Both companies are giving away $25 prizes! I was ecstatic when we were told about this opportunity because I had never made a light-up card… and now I have two under my belt, lol! The Love From Lizi June release is SO fun and when you add Pear Blossom Press lights, the fun quadruples!
I debated for a couple days whether to just showcase one card for the hop and then pop in with the second one later in the week, and my final decision was to showcase both of them for the hop because they were so stinkin’ fun! I listed the supplies I used for card #1 (green frog) and card #2 (purple dragon) separately down below.
Although the cards are fairly similar, they do have differences. I stamped background stars, sentiments and focal image (which I fussy cut) on card #1 – while I used ephemera for the focal images on card #2 with stamped sentiments and clouds (also fussy cut).
I used a Pear Blossom Press EZ-Light on card #1 and a Pear Blossom Press Halo Light on card #2.
I used the Love From Lizi Background Builder One die set for the background on card #1 and Love From Lizi Stitched Rectangle Nested Cutting Dies for the background on card #2.
Both cards have layered panels inside with stamped sentiments. Once again, be sure to hop along with us for your chance to win a prize! You have until 11:59 PM EST on May 31st to leave your comments at each stop on the hop, and then the winner announcement will be on June 2nd at 9:0o AM EST on both the Pear Blossom Press and Love From Lizi Instagram pages.

Howdy peeps – I hope you’ve had a great week and you’re looking forward to some fun this weekend! With this delightful weather, you HAVE to be ready to have some fun! I’m excited to share a Brutus Monroe DT inspiration project today featuring our amazing new Kitty Heart stamp set which I paired with our Playful Patterns paper, Sea cardstock, and Super Sentimental stamp set. I’m totally in love with this swing flap fun fold and thought these stamps and papers would make an outstanding kitty-themed thank you card!
I cut the 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base from our Sea cardstock along with a layering panel from a plaid print in our Playful Patterns paper pack cut at 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. Using a square die in my stash about 2-3/4″ in square, I cut an aperture completely through both layers on the front flap, reserving the square cut from the Sea cardstock. You can do this by only applying adhesive around the edges of the patterned paper when adhering it to the card front. I die cut a slightly smaller square from Solar White cardstock and adhered it to the Sea cardstock square. I stamped the image from the Kitty Heart stamp set in Raven ink on a scrap piece of Solar White, colored it with markers and fussy cut it. You could also stamp this directly on the white cardstock square.
The inside accordion type panel was also cut from Solar White at 5-1/4″ x 6″ and scored at 2″ and 4″. It’s easier to stamp any images or sentiment on this panel prior to adhering to the card base. I stamped the vertical row of kitties from the Kitty Heart stamp set in Raven ink along with a sentiment from the Super Sentimental stamp set, and then adhered the panel to the right side of the card base. I chose to leave these kitties uncolored but you can color them if you want.
The final step – which is where the magic happens – is to close the card with the inside panel also folded up (mountain then valley). Apply adhesive only to the portion of the white cardstock panel that’s visible through the aperture and press the focal image into the space. When the card is opened, half of the focal image swings through the aperture. So fun!

Hi friends – I hope you’re all having a wonderful week! We’re on the down-slide to the weekend and hopefully you have something fun planned! I’m delighted to share a super fun project for Keep It Simple created with our new KIS Cuts Camera dies and items from our Wander collection! You know how I love me some mini albums and I just couldn’t resist using papers, stamps, dies and die cut pieces from this new collection, along with a few varieties of Sprinkles and additional dies from the store! To say this was ‘fun’ is an understatement, lol!
Using our new KIS Cuts Camera dies and the inner page binding die from our KIS Cuts Backpack Mini Album, I cut the cover and pages from CutCardStock Basis Black cardstock along with elements and layering panels from our Wander 12×12 Collection Pack. I embellished the front and all the pages with stamped sentiments and images, die cut pieces and die cut sentiments, and also included pull-outs, a pull-up and a shaker. This was a total blast!

Hey everybody, Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a great week! I’m up on the Scrapbook Pal blog today sharing a tutorial for making a pretty thank you card featuring the Altenew Enchanted Roses Stamps and Dies. This card might be clean and simple but it’s mighty and sure packs a punch. I always love and appreciate the amazing details Altenew puts into their products, and the versatility of these stamps would make this card SO easy to mass produce in lots of yummy colors!
I started by cutting the card base from CutCardStock Smooth 100# White cardstock. I stamped the entire image from the Altenew Enchanted Roses Stamps on the same cardstock in Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus ink, cut it with the coordinating Altenew Enchanted Roses Die, and adhered it to the front of the card base. I stamped an additional flower from the same stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic Ciao BV02 alcohol marker. I fussy cut it and adhered to the card base over top of the image stamped in green. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set, cut it with the coordinating die, and adhered it to the upper left corner. The finishing touch was adding a few iridescent gemstones.
I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Cougar Smooth 80# White cardstock along with a panel of CutCardStock Pop Tone Jellybean Green cardstock. I added an additional sentiment from the same Altenew Enchanted Roses stamp set which I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut with the coordinating die.
