Here We Grow

Hi friends – I hope you’re having a great day and it’s not too hot where you are! I have THE cutest Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share today. I totally love the flower pot pocket card, so I decided to make one using one of our newer collections. This adorable card features papers, stamps and dies from our Bugs collection, and makes such a fun card for a kid… or a kid-at-heart adult! That caterpillar is beyond cute!

I cut the card base and pull-up card from CutCardStock Lessebo Coffee Bean cardstock along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the Bugs 6×9 collection pack. I used 165# Solar White to layer onto the pull-up card. I grabbed a KIS Cuts Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle die to cut the scallop edge and then tied some Back To Basics Jute Twine around the card.

I stamped a sentiment and several images from the Bugs Collections stamps on 80# Solar White cardstock and colored them with a variety of markers. I cut them with the coordinating Outline dies and popped a few of them up on our Back To Basics Adhesive Squares.

All that was left to do was stamp a sentiment on the pull-up card. Is that not the cutest card ever?! Love how this one turned out! The next one I make I think I will use acetate on the top portion of the pull-up card. ;)
