I like Big Cups note card

Hey everybody! Happy Saturday – I hope you’ve got something fun planned this weekend! I’ve popped in this morning to share a Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project – and this one will likely bring a smile to your face! I used the awesome Perk Up stamps and coordinating dies along with a coffee ATC in my stash to create this note card. The sentiments in this stamp set are an absolute hoot! My nephew listened to Sir Mix A Lot’s ‘Baby Got Back’ song back in the 90s so this stamp made me chuckle, too!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Brown Bag Kraft Paper and Pop Tone Black Licorice. I grabbed a STAMPlorations coffee ATC from my stash and layered the panels and the ATC down the left side of the card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Perk Up stamp set in Catherine Pooler Mandarin Spice ink on Solar White cardstock and cut it with the large coffee cup die in the Perk Up coordinating dies. I cut three more coffee cups and layered them together for a little dimension. The finishing touch was adding several Sparkling Clear Heart Droplets.

I embellished the inside with strips of CutCardStock Basis Dark Orange and Pop Tone Black Licorice cardstock. I stamped coffee beans (from the same stamp set) in the lower left corner and colored them with an alcohol marker. Since this is a note card, I left the inside blank with plenty of room to write a custom message.

Scrappy hugs,

Tis the Season to be Naughty

Hey everybody! Happy Friday – I hope you had a good week! I have another super fun Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project to share with you today. I used the new Buffalo Plaid Backdrop Die along with the Naughty Christmas stamps and Naughty word die, and the Christmas Gnome Stamp Set and coordinating dies, all available in the Kat Scrappiness store. This guy looks like he’s behaving himself but I bet he’s not, lol! I love the sentiment and yep, I giggled quite a few times while putting this card together!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from CutCardStock Curious Metallic Night cardstock and die cut the background from CutCardStock Pop Tone Jellybean Green cardstock using the Buffalo Plaid Backdrop Die. I stamped the sentiment from the Naughty Christmas stamp set and the gnome from the Christmas Gnome stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Solar White cardstock. I colored the gnome with alcohol markers, adding some shimmer to the package with a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen. I colored his buckle with a Pentel Slicci gold pen and then cut him with the coordinating Christmas Gnome die. Using the Naughty word die, I die cut the other part of the sentiment from CutCardStock Basis Red. I cut two more sentiments from Curious Metallic Night cardstock and layered them together for some dimension.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips cut from CutCardStock Pop Tone Jellybean Green and the Curious Metallic Night cardstock used on the front. I stamped the sentiment (also from the Naughty Christmas stamp set) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and layered the panel directly on the card base.

Coffee because adulting is Hard

Hey everybody! Happy Hump Day – I hope you’re having a good week! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project. I created a clean and simple note card for that coffee lover featuring the Perk Up Stamp Set and Perk Up Coordinating Dies! This card, as simple as it is, was so much fun and made me giggle the entire time it took me to make it!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and rounded the bottom right corner. I cut strips of patterned paper from the Keep It Simple Mango 12×12 Collection Pack and adhered them to the bottom of the card front. I stamped the coffee pot and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Solar White cardstock and cut them with the coordinating dies. I cut two more coffee pots and adhered them together for a little dimension. I adhered several loops of Coats and Clark gold sewing thread to the back side of the coffee pot element and then adhered it to the card base. The finishing touch was adding several Eyelet Outlet white enamel dots.

I embellished the inside flap with narrow strips of the patterned paper used on the front. Since this is a note card, I left the inside blank with plenty of room to write custom message.

Love You Shaker

2/3/23 Rising Star at A Place To Start!

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday – I hope you’re having a good week so far! It’s super chilly here and we’ve driven in the snow to doctor appointments and grocery shopping, but otherwise trying to stay indoors where it’s cozy! I’ve popped in today to share a quick Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project featuring the Love Lightbulb Shaker Card Kit! I totally love shakers and I used this one as the focal embellishment on the front of this ‘love you just because’ card. I used a gold and black color combo with Kat Scrappiness Gold Solid Confetti Mix (with a few black sequins from my stash) and the Friendship Greetings stamp set.

I cut a standard A2 side-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and layering panels from Darice black cardstock and Stampin’ Up Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. I colored the shaker frame with a Kirarina Wink gold metallic marker and the ‘love’ element with a Copic Sketch black marker.

I used Kat Scrappiness Gold Solid Confetti Mix along with a few black sequins from my stash as the shaker filler, and then adhered a few random pieces of the gold confetti on the background. Using the Kat Scrappiness Friendship Greetings stamp set, I stamped the word ‘you’ on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, trimmed it, and adhered it to the lightbulb.

I cut the inside panel from Solar White cardstock, embellished it with strips of the foiled vellum and black cardstock used on the front, and stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) in black ink.

Thinking of You Mini Slimline Note Card

Hey everybody! Happy Monday – I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and you’re staying warm and cozy throughout this crazy arctic blast. So weird and scary. I’ve popped in this morning to share another Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project with you! By now, you know that I totally love mini slimline cards, so I created a mini slim note card featuring several Kat Scrappiness products. I did something I haven’t done in a while… I upcycled! I used the bottom half of a store-bought pink and purple note card with gold veining that I recently received in the mail. There was nothing written on the inside of this note card (which contained an unmounted rubber stamp I won) and it was just too pretty to throw away. It was time to create my second Creative Influencer project for December, so I pulled out my Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Stitched Rope dies, Thinking of You Word Die (without the Shadow) and Gold Pearl Mix, and got busy!

I cut my go-to 3-1/2″ x 6″ size mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Amethyst cardstock. I die cut a rectangle from half of the ready-made note card using a Mini Slimline Stitched Rope die. I then die cut the sentiment (using the Thinking of You Word Die without the Shadow) twice from CutCardStock Bright Gold Foil cardstock and layered them together. The finishing touch was adding several pearls from the Gold Pearl Mix. I’m so annoyed because foil is hard to photograph and I couldn’t get a good frontal shot without glare.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips cut from the ready-made note card and the amethyst cardstock used on the front. I left the panel blank to write a custom message.

Scrappy hugs,

Glittered Ornament

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday – I hope you’re having a good week so far! It’s turning out to be a busy morning here. I’ve popped in again to share a Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project featuring the Snowflake Ornament Shaker Card Kit which I used to create a stand-alone ornament. I love making ornaments even though we haven’t put up a Christmas tree for a number of years because of our feline rescues. We recently talked about putting up a tree (anchored to the ceiling and/or wall, lol) with cat toys as ornaments! How fun would that be?! We’ve been so busy with the cabin that we decided to start this tradition next year. Can’t believe we didn’t think of this sooner! Okay, okay, back to my project… ;)

I started by coloring the face of the ornament with alcohol markers, coated it with Art Glitter Dries Clear glue, and applied Stampin’ Up Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I die cut a circle from CutCardStock Medium Blue cardstock with a Spellbinders Standard Circles Small die to use as the back of the ornament. Next, I adhered the shaker base and added Kat Scrappiness Mirrored Clear Confetti Dot Sequin Mix, 3mm Sparkling Clear Droplets and 4mm Sparkling Clear Droplets as the shaker mix.

I adhered the acetate and then the face. I adhered quite a few more 3mm Sparkling Clear Droplets to embellish the snowflake, and added a Really Reasonable Ribbon silver metallic string hanger and blue checkerboard ribbon bow, which completed the ornament.

Scrappy hugs,

Clean and Simple Thank You

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a great weekend! Are you still stuffed from Thanksgiving?! LOL! I’ve popped in this morning to share a Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project with you! I created a clean and simple Thank You card featuring the Friendship Greetings stamp set along with the Silver Pearl Mix. Really loving how this turned out, and nobody can have too many thank you cards in their stash!

Card base is a standard A2 size top-folding cut from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. A sentiment and the largest floral image from the Friendship Greetings stamp set were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with alcohol markers. The finishing touch was adding several silver pearls from the Silver Pearl Mix.

The inside panel was cut from 80# Solar White cardstock, another sentiment from the Friendship Greetings stamp set stamped in black ink, and panel layered on CutCardStock Pop Tone Black Licorice cardstock.

Scrappy hugs,

From Our Gnome to Yours

Hey y’all! Well another Monday has rolled around and I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I have another Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project to share with you today, and this one is so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! I’ve been playing with the Christmas Gnome Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies again, and along with the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped Dies and Mini Slimline Tri-Frame Dies, I created this Christmas card in a red and pink color combo to coordinate with this adorable guy’s candy cane.

I cut a mini slimline card base and die cut a layering panel and frame using the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped Dies and Mini Slimline Tri-Frame Dies. Using the Christmas Gnome Stamp Set, I stamped the gnome, colored him with alcohol markers, and cut him with the coordinating die. I adhered him to the card front, stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set, and added several Eyelet Outlet Green Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with leftover strips of Basis Red and Basis Pink cardstock. I stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and layered the panel on Basis Red cardstock.

Scrappy hugs,

Merry Christmas Scene in a Bottle

Hey everybody! Happy Friday – I hope you’re having an awesome week! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project with you! I know I’ve shared many times that I absolutely love shakers – so instead of a ‘message in a bottle’, we have a ‘scene in a bottle’ which is one of the many relatively new products in the store. In addition to this Christmas Scene in a Bottle Shaker Card Kit, I used the Christmas Gnomes Stamp Set, Friendship Greetings Stamp Set, 3mm Sparkling Clear Droplets and 4mm Sparkling Clear Droplets to create this Christmas card with an inked background! So fun!

I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. Next, I DTP-inked a panel of Strathmore Bristol 100# Smooth with Ranger stormy sky, faded jeans, prize ribbon and villainous potion distress inks. When it was completely dry, I flicked water on it and blotted it with paper towel, and adhered it to the card base.

I colored the cork on the end with a brown Tombow marker and added some CutCardStock Brown Bag Kraft paper to resemble cork. Next, I used brown, red, gold and green Tombow markers to color the scene in the bottle, and applied Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops to the trees and ground for the snow.

I assembled the shaker, laid down 3mm Sparkling Clear Droplets and 4mm Sparkling Clear Droplets onto the background, and adhered the shaker over top of them. I adhered a few more clear droplets on the background and added a stamped and trimmed sentiment from the Christmas Gnomes stamp set, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from #80 Solar White cardstock, stamped a sentiment from the Friendship Greetings stamp set, and layered the panel on CutCardStock Basis Medium Blue cardstock.

Santa, Define Naughty

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday to you! I’ve popped in this morning to share another Kat Scrappiness Creative Influencer inspiration project! I created a fun Christmas card featuring a bad little gnome all caught up in Christmas lights which SO reminds me of a couple of our bad cats, lol! I used the Naughty Christmas Stamp Set, Naughty Word Die, Christmas Gnome Stamp Set and Christmas Gnome Coordinating Dies! Love how it turned out!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base along with panels from Polly’s Paper Studio patterned paper and Doodlebug Design Buffalo Check-Wood Grain cardstock. I adhered these to the card base with a strip of Pop Tone Hot Fudge to create a living room scene. I stamped a gnome from the Christmas Gnome Stamp Set on 110# Solar White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and cut it with the Christmas Gnome Coordinating Die. Next, I cut the sentiment using the Naughty Word Die from 110# Solar White cardstock and colored it with a red alcohol marker. I adhered the gnome and die cut sentiment to the card front, then stamped the other portion of the sentiment from the Naughty Christmas Stamp Set in Jet Black StazOn ink. The finishing touch was adding several gemstones from an Eyelet Outlet 3mm red Jewel Bling Strip.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of leftover patterned paper used on the front and a narrow strip of GKD Jelly Bean Green cardstock. I stamped another sentiment from the Naughty Christmas Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and layered the panel on the green cardstock.
