Rustic Outhouse

Hi everyone! Happy Hump Day – I hope you’re having a great week! Today is my post day on the Simply Crafty SVGs Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you, a very cool Rustic Outhouse created with the Simply Crafty SVGs Outhouse cut file. OMG, I had THE best time creating this! I dug out the rust paste and made the hardware on the door and the roof rusty! Gotta have some rust!

2018_09090016a

I used a woodgrain background stamp on all the pieces beneath the trim. I have to say that Simply Crafty SVGs owner, Sandy, thought of everything when she created this cut file… even a toilet seat and toilet paper, lol!

2018_09090017a

Here are shots from different angles. This is the first time I’ve played with the rust paste and I think I like it! :)

Rows of Crystal Drops embellish the eves (on both sides) which is actually the top of the box!

2018_08060003a

I’m loving the wood grain Christmas paper! I inked the edges of all the panels for a rustic look.

Season’s Greetings Lamp Post

Hello, my crafty friends! We’re rockin’ right on into the middle of July with some warm weather and periodic rain showers, but our evenings/nights are in the low to mid 50s and I love it! Today is my post day on the Simply Crafty SVGs blog and I’m excited to share my Season’s Greetings Lamp Post using the very awesome Holiday Lamp Post cut file which I’ve fallen madly in love with!

2018_0710001a

The snowcapped lantern top comes off to add a battery-operated tea light. Unfortunately, I don’t have any but will update this post soon when I can add one. It looks very cool!

2018_0710002a

I stamped a Christmas greeting on the sign in black ink and added a little sparkle overlay marker to the snowflake.

2018_0710003a

I added some tiny red Dot Sparklers to the wreath and a larger green one to the bow for a little added interest. I also added sparkle overlay marker to the snow on the base of the lamp post. Love how this turned out and I can’t wait to display it on my desk at work during the holidays!

Scalloped Thanks Note Card

Hello, my crafty friends! A very Happy Hump Day to you all! I’ve been playing again and I’m happy to share a beautiful Simply Crafty SVGs DT inspiration project I created with the free Scallop Thanks Card cut file! What a fun card – and this would be a great one to mass produce in different colors and patterns to have in your card stash!

2018_02110014a

I’ve had this double-sided K & Co. paper in my stash for quite some time and I was happy to use several sheets from the pad. Green and pink is one of my favorite color combos.

2018_02110015a

I left the inside blank to write a custom message.

One more angled shot. Love how this turned out – I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of these!

Surf Shack

Hello, my crafty friends! I am so excited to share my latest DT inspiration project for Simply Crafty SVGs – a Surf Shack! I am so in love with how this turned out! I used the Love Shack cut file, along with elements from these cut files: Surfer’s Paradise Card (surf board and tree), Fishing Boat Box (life preserver) and Mountain Camping Box Card (chair). OMG… I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this!

2018_05130001a

As part of the transformation of this cut file from Love Shack to Surf Shack, all of the walls, roof shingles and door pieces are stamped with a woodgrain background stamp which I thought added a fun touch. I added ‘rope’ to the life preserver and sparkle overlay marker to the surf board for some shimmer.

2018_05130002a

Here are a few more shots from all angles. I just LOVE this! Squeal! ;)

Products used:
