Hello Summer tag album

6/16/23 Top Cut at Cut It Up Challenge Blog!
6/17/23 Top Rocker at 613 Avenue Create!

Hi everyone! Can you believe we’re headed straight into the middle of June already?! The year is almost half over… where are these months going?! I’m delighted to share a ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today created with the amazing June 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! Next to fun folds, you know much I love making mini albums, and this tag album is a super simple project that is both adorable and useful! I used papers and stickers as well as chipboard, ephemera and adhesive brads from the upgrades!

I die cut eight tags from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock using a tag die from the STAMPlorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies which became the pages of the album. I die cut two additional tags from patterned papers in the collection to cover the front and back of each page.

I embellished the pages with stickers from the sticker sheet as well as chipboard elements, ephemera and adhesive brads from the upgrades. I also used rectangle, square and circle die cuts using My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX, Stitched Rectangle STAX and Wonky Stitched Circle STAX, and CottageCutz Double-Stitched Rectangles and Double-Stitched Ovals, all cut from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. I bound the album pages with a book ring and tied an assortment of ribbon pieces to the ring.

Howdy peeps! I hope you’re having a great weekend and your weather is as beautiful as ours is out here in southwestern Colorado! This is such a wonderful time of year with the cool nights and warm days – but not too warm… yet! I’m delighted to be back with another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project created with the amazing May 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I’m always in awe of the upgrades included with the kits each month and how everything coordinates so beautifully! Totally loving the papers, sticker, and matching chipboard used on this friendship card!

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from two prints in the collection, and rounded the right bottom corner. I added some pink skinny glitter washi tape from my stash prior to adhering a die cut oval and chipboard accent. The finishing touch was adding tiny clear gemstones to several of the clouds.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a sticker strip of clouds from the sticker sheet and a strip of pink skinny glitter washi tape. I added a sentiment die cut from the upgrades which completed the card.

Pretty As A Picture

Howdy friends! Time is just flying by and it’ll be Christmas again before we know it! Just don’t blink, lol! I’m thrilled to be back with another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project created with the amazing May 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I’m totally loving all the different sized journaling cards included in this month’s collection and created this pretty front flap card featuring one of the 4×4 journaling cards with coordinating paper.

I cut the card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from two prints in this month’s collection and American Crafts Rouge Glitter Paper. I also trimmed a 4×4 journaling card included with the papers and rounded all four corners on all the pieces. I popped the focal panel up on double-sided foam strips, and added three embellishments from the Buttons Galore & More Sparkletz Embellishments.

I embellished the inside of the front flap with a plaid print from the collection and a narrow strip of the glitter paper used on the front, and added a stamped sentiment and sticker from the sticker sheet.

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a good day and you’re able to be outside enjoying some delightful weather! I’m happy to be back with another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project created with the amazing May 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I’ve always loved using chipboard accents on my projects, and the package included in the upgrades this month is pretty amazing! I’ve used two of them on the front of this cute little clutch purse!

I cut the clutch purse card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and covered it with a plaid print from the collection. I cut the flap closure using a My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop Oval STAX and covered it with a coordinating print from the kit. I added a layered strip embellishment across the bottom and adhered the chipboard accents from the upgrades. The final step was adhering a small disc magnet with Ranger Distress Collage Medium to keep the purse closed.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a print from the kit. I added a sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet and layered the panel on another print from the collection.

Scrappy hugs,

hive rules

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday – I can’t believe we’re almost through another week! Where is the time going?! I’m delighted to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project created with the amazing May 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I love all the different patterned papers in this month’s kit, and picked out three coordinating prints to make this pinwheel panel card. The focal element is a Chipboard Accent from the upgrades. I’ve made a few of these pinwheel cards over the years and they are so fun!

I cut the square card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop Tone Black Licorice and a gingham pattern from this month’s kit. Using a My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX, I die cut eight stitched squares for the pinwheel from two additional patterns in the collection along with layers cut from the Pop Tone Black Licorice cardstock. I adhered the pinwheel element to the card base and added a Chipboard Accent from the upgrades which I sanded with a Snow Block (a staple in my studio) and layered on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a scrap piece of the gingham print from the kit and narrow strip of Black Licorice cardstock used on the front. The finishing touch was adding a sentiment piece from the Frames & Tags in the upgrades.

Scrappy hugs,

Oh Happy Day

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a fantastic week and enjoying some delightful weather! I’ve popped in this morning to share a ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today created with the amazing May 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! OMGoodness, this collection is amazing with all the coordinating papers and stickers, not to mention the chipboard, ephemera, frames and tags in the upgrades! As you undoubtedly know, I’m a huge fan of shaped cards, so that’s the direction I took with this one!

I cut the shaped card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock using the Crafter’s Companion Die’sire Ruth Create-A-Card die set. I then cut the layering panels for the front from patterned paper and a 3×4 journaling card in the collection alternating with a panel cut from 80# Solar White cardstock. I popped the focal panel up on 1″ double-sided foam strips and added Nuvo Ivory Seashell Crystal Drops to the flower centers.

I die cut the inside panels from the patterned paper in the kit that I used on the front along with 80# Solar White cardstock embellished with a floral sticker from the kit prior to cutting. I added a die cut sentiment from the upgrades which completed the card.

Scrappy hugs,

Square Striped Welcome

Howdy peeps! Well, this week is coming to a close and I hope you’ve had a good one! I’m happy to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today, created with the amazing April 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I like to make my own backgrounds with cut strips of patterned paper, and the variety of papers in this month’s collection makes that really simple to do. I created a square panel of diagonal stripes which I cut into four pieces. I rotated a couple of them to come up with a unique pattern and then added a journaling card from the collection which I layered on a floral pattern and used as the focal element.

I cut a 5-1/4” square top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. I cut strips from two coordinating papers in the collection and created a diagonal pattern which I cut into four pieces. I rotated two of them and adhered them to the card base. I trimmed a journaling card in the collection and layered it on a coordinating print, and used it as the focal element. I added one die cut heart from the upgrades and one heart sticker from the sticker sheet.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with two leftover patterned paper strips used on the front. I layered the panel on the same pattern used to layer the focal element on the front, and added two sentiment stickers from the sticker sheet.

Scrappy hugs,

Gather ‘Round

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having an awesome week! I’m delighted to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today, created with the amazing April 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I like the nice variety of die cuts in the upgrades in this month’s collection and the fact that they make quick cards. I used die cuts along with two coordinating papers to create a dining room scene for this pretty family-themed card.

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with panels from two coordinating papers in the kit to create the wall and floor for the dining room scene. I added two die cuts from the upgrades which completed the front of this quick and easy card.

I cut the inside panel from a woodgrain paper in the kit and embellished it with a leftover strip of paper used on the front. I completed the inside with an additional die cut sentiment from the upgrades.

Scrappy hugs,

Family Floating Tile Card

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a great week! I’m stoked to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today, created with the amazing April 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I like using stickers as the focal element on cards and employed the floating tile technique with the letter tiles on this mini slimline which really packs a punch. The floating tile technique is similar to the floating strips technique where cardstock strips are adhered to acetate and then popped up on foam to achieve the look of ‘floating.’ I’ve made a couple floating strips cards in the past and thought it would be fun to float some tiles! ;)

I cut a 3-1/2” x 6” mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with two layering panels and a flag from coordinating papers in the collection. I adhered the F-A-M-I-L-Y tiles from the sticker sheet to an acetate strip and popped them up on double-sided foam strips to achieve a ‘floating’ look. I added two floral die cuts from the upgrades and a sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a leftover piece of patterned paper used on the front. I trimmed the sentiment from a journaling card in the collection and layered it on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock.

Scrappy hugs,

Blessed.

Hi everyone! I hope it’s warming up where you are! It’s been so dang cold here that I’m ready for some REAL Spring! I’m delighted to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project with you today, created with the amazing April 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I really like all the coordinating tags and journaling cards that accompany the patterned papers in the kits each month, and for this card I used a couple tags as the focal element on the card front along with coordinating papers and upgrades in this month’s collection.

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from two coordinating papers and two tags. I tied some green crafting cord to the top of the tags before adhering them to the card front, then selected a large floral die cut from the upgrades which I tucked between the tags, and added a couple Eyelet Outlet green enamel dots.

I cut inside panels (one large and one small) from papers in the kit along with an additional tag. I added a sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet which completed the card. Another super easy design that went together fast!
